FUN FACT: A well-known art critic positively reviewed Van Gough's work roughly a month before his suicide. This was the first (and only) time in his life he was recognized for his efforts. This review directly triggered the rise of public interest in his art, but it occurred too gradually, so by the time it would've reached Van Gough, he was already dead.
