I'm a drummer and have rototoms and Simmons drums and Pauste cymbsls because of Alex Van Halen. I have played that song many times and seen many covers of it on KZbin. That's the best I've ever seen it played. Most people do the ride cymbal pattern with two hands. However, you did it the way it was supposed to be done with one hand, but you also did it with power and finesse which is about impossible to do. You nailed it. I've got a feeling you could even do better. Keep working on it and maybe get some roto toms and see if you can outdo yourself. I mean you've already climbed Mount Everest but maybe see if you can jump up and catch a star. You know what I mean? It's one thing to possess the skills to play the song, but it's another to have the groove and feel and power that it takes to really play this correctly. You reached a whole new level to do that. If Wolfgang ever decided to do a tribute to his father you should seriously be the drummer. Alex is done and doesn't want to play anymore without Ed anyway.
