Eddie was so connected to his guitar, after a concert. His guitar needed a cigarette lol. I'm still grieving over the death of Edward RIP 😔 to the king of strings 🎸🤘. Thanks for sharing 😎

This gentleman seems to be ignorant as to the many different songs, fifty years of songwriting, done by Michael Schenker. That was a completely poor thing to say. Listen to UFO's Lp called "Force It" released in 1975.
@WOLF2216
@WOLF2216 6 ай бұрын
No disrespect to Schenker was intended. I was almost a bigger fan of his than Edward! I meant to compare the career success of the two of them and how it all came down to song composition. Btw, 'Force It' was one of my favorite UFO albums and I worshipped it in my woodshed for days on end...@@kevinkiso4579

Great interview with Mike Wolf. I was in my car making a left turn when they announced his death on the radio, about 3:00 pm my time. I almost crashed making that turn. I pulled over and cried. Life isn’t the same without Eddie.

Awesome set of interviews, appreciate it, I learned a lot. I've been a fan of Van Halen since the seventies, seen lots of videos/ podcasts, read most all the books and still learned a bunch here which usually isn't the case with most. thanks.

I taped the Pasadena show off the radio early eighties. A must for any fan, especially guitar players. That should have been released. It sounds better than the Aerosmith live albums. Great interviews. More please

Yeah, that avatar, or hologram technology is crazy. A few years ago I almost ‘literally’ saw Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison performing over here in Beverly Hills-Sabon theater. Man, first Roy just kind of materialized coming up from the floor… do a few songs, and just kind of disappear like being teleported. Then Buddy would come and go the same way. They would take turns doing a few songs with a live band behind them. I was only about 10 rows back. And at one point. I got up to go down the left side towards the front of the stage. And it still looked like them. I remember seeing Buddy Holly‘s guitar cable just dangling, clothes moving, and you’re looking at the artist. 🤘🏻🎸🔥😯

I love the channel and these interviews. Keep more coming. Mike Wolf is a great interview. It’s funny that Eddie said to Dweezil in a phone call about the person who had the bootlegs, “I don’t want anyone coming to my house”. And yet here is Mike Wolf who ended up coming to Eddie’s house. It didn’t sound like Mike knew in this interview that in another interview that Eddie had said that! I guess that’s why Mike says in this interview that Dweezil was protective of Ed and was trying to be a “gatekeeper” in ten situation. Hahaha. It’s badass that Mike needed up visiting Eddie’s house and studio and being a buddy.

I think Roth should have gone in the studio and fixed those vocals but, if you really want a real live album. Tokyo Dome is it.

I am flabbergasted that the brothers didn't kick Wolf's ass. What band in their right man would deal with a guy who had their bootlegs, seems absurd.

@@FinalResonanceTV The more Stuff that comes out really does not put him in a good light it’s funny because back in 1985 I was camp Dave because for some reason I thought they threw Dave out of the band but I just despised Sammy’s voice with Van Halen really can’t explain it although I like it now.

In a recent interview I heard from Eddie Van Halen in '78 he said that he didn't like playing along with a keyboardist he liked filling all the spots himself and it was difficult to Noodle and do what he wanted during a song and be out of sync with a keyboardist
