The movie wasn't horrible or not even nearly as bad as you are making it seem. The characters had depth, the dialogue was decent, the connection between Van Helsing and Anna was good and the villain, Dracula was good too. Frankenstein was portrayed great for the age it was presented in. And Hugh killed it in the roll. Hell, even the Werewolf was good. The transformation scenes looked clean. If you review any figures from Van Helsing it should be the collectors editions. Which came out extremely well........I personally have all 3. Movie perfect? No and not the best......but decent enough? I think so........

hehe not many really understood some of the reasons why the movie was the way it was.... most of the references had nods and pays tribute to some of the silent movies and black and white horror movie era, hence why some of it seems cheesy. some of the acting and dialogue also had nods to those silent and b/w movie era... very tongue in cheek. The movie itself wasn't made to be taken seriously, but I guess those who didn't get it missed the point. Everyone has their own opinions, I guess.

what are you guys smoking? The movie was a complete turkey! I'm just glad I didn't see it in the theaters lol the figure is solid though. Mainly thanks to the hat and the mask. They should've given him that crossbow weapon instead of those blades. I hope that Anna figure does justice to Kate Beckinsale's gorgeous looks! Great review!

It was just scary awful, but still a very fun film. Kinda wish I had bought some of these back when KB had them on clearance. Actually, even multiples of these would've made for cool army builders (ignoring that lame action feature, which apparently also nerfed the shoulders). And he looks a lot better with the mask on =x

To be honest, it wasn't the worst movie I ever saw. I don't think of it as "High Class" entertainment, but more like "Popcorn" entertainment. To speak on a negative note, I think this movie tried way too hard to please on-going fans. Because of this, the movie suffers. And as I can tell from this one figure, the rest of these toys are crap. It's a mediocre toy from a mediocre movie :P
