... I have a collection of backpacking stoves and choose by trip length and altitude ... As of now for me it's a Pocket Rocket Deluxe or a Whisperlite ,,,, never had a missed coffee or meal .... for a backup I also carry a small Firebox Nano twig stove ... usually wood is not a problem to aquire except at constant high elevations above 12k' ...

It is so nice out there. We are still under feet of snow, with another big storm on the way! The sound of running water is hard to beat. I still have the peak refuel Chicken teriyaki with rice that you gave me lol. That second night was a great place to hang.

Something about running water that just gets me every time.Awesome hike in a beautiful area. That Polar Jammer looks a great idea for keeping my GoPro Batteries warm when I’m out ice fishing. Good stuff Jason !

Very cool waterfalls and views. I can’t remember the name of it, but we hiked a trail (no overnight) along the Cumberland River to see Cumberland Falls. That whole river is amazing! I think he was actually being sincere 👍🏻

Southwest Missouri native here, taking a trip to Lexington Kentucky in early June for a country music festival, ill be there for about a week and have been looking for trails in the area, curious if you know about how far this is from the Lexington area?. There’s a loop out there of maybe 10-11 miles. But if you go off trail exploring maybe more. Probably 3-4 miles to Van Hook Falls
