@@cesarebachelli Bernie is all about taxing the 99%. His policies are not for the people. They are for controlling the people by taking their guns, taking their money, taking their speech and giving them back what he feels the deserve instead of the people deciding for themselves. Anasha - Kudos for recognition of Sanders you say? It makes no difference to the leftists if it is Sanders or Satan himself. For example look at what the Democrats have done here in California and what they have planned for the rest of the country. Social democracy is a political, social and economic philosophy that supports economic and social interventions to promote social justice within the framework of a liberal democratic polity and a capitalist-oriented economy. The protocols and norms used to accomplish this involve a commitment to representative and participatory democracy, measures for income redistribution, regulation of the economy in the general interest and social welfare provisions.[1][2][3] Due to longstanding governance by social democratic parties during the post-war consensus and their influence on socioeconomic policy in the Nordic countries, social democracy became associated with the Nordic model and Keynesianism within political circles in the late 20th century.[4] It has also been seen by some political commentators as a synonym for modern socialism[5][6][7] and as overlapping with democratic

Democratic socialism/mixed economy IS the foundation of the US and every other Western country, and the decades when it expanded were the best years of the US...at least for everyone, not just the rich and wealthy. We've only gone downhill since the radical right (and then corporate dems) started rigging the economy for the rich via trickle down/welfare for the rich/deregulation b.s. which began with reagan and 45* and the current GOP have made even more extreme than ever before. I’m sure that if I were to ask you all about Corbynism, why the electorate rejected his policies, what they thought of Labour’s everything-and-the-kitchen-sink manifesto at the end, let alone the dangerously toxic nationalism and revisionist nostalgia that swept bumbling Boris into power, that you’d be able to give me a good critique of all that. Oh yeah, I’m dead sure about that. Actually, I’m a bit surer that you’d struggle to point out England on a map - that is, that you could draw its borders with Wales and Scotland, if asked - but don’t let that stop you from alluding to a faraway land and a very different political landscape facing very different populist politics than America. “Oh yeah, England!” [Nods, knowingly.]

Because he's employed by CNN and they don't like Bernie. When Jones speaks to Republicans, he always underestimates Sanders' reach and support. He basically works the room he's at, regardless of the type of audience. I have a hard time taking anything he says seriously because one week he will say one thing and the next he'll completely 180 himself. I really hope Sanders wins the nomination and the general election; the world needs leaders with common sense that care for everyone, not just their base. The "let's go with right wing lunatics as leaders" experiment worldwide has to end NOW.

Because Bernie's platform only resonates with 20-25% of all American voters. Even in the Democrat Party, Sanders is getting less than 50% of all Democrat votes. His support among Independent voters is small. In a general election, Bernie will be decimated.....and most Democrats know that.

Thank you....Nevada. Bernie is a wise and honest person. Hope superdelegates know about it.

This is a BIG DEAL. Nevada Dems have always gone for the most establishment right wing candidate. Clinton beat Obama and Bernie Sanders there.

They really don't seem too enthused by having such a popular candidate. I wonder why?

Hello from Germany. You may definitely call Germany a Socialist Capitalist country. Medicare for All is a legal requirement and the health service is excellent. The unemployed get a percentage of their previous salary for their first year unemployed due to compulsory insurance they pay while employed. Tuition is free in State Universities with often a free public transport pass given (depending on the University). The system works really well. Americans deserve the freedoms that other countries take for granted. Vote Bernie or Warren.

Looks like Bernie is giving Van Jones a “whitelash”. Last week CNN was calling Bernie sexist and misogynistic.

xCaptxCrunchx well said. They’ll call it socialism but it’s really just basic human rights. We can still have all the capitalism the greedy need but we can do it while treating people with respect.

Bernie deserves the nomination -- he's more then earned it. America deserves the debate, and they will decide it at the ballot box 2020. I can live with that.
