I agree with Trevor 1000% My mom suffered from mental illness as well and was Unmedicated throughout our childhood and most of my adult years. I didn’t truly meet my mother until 2 years before she transitioned and was religiously on her medication. Even suffering dementia and Parkinson’s, she was the mother that I wished I had grown up with but, my grandchildren were blessed to meet a great-grandmother that they could love and who showed a beautiful live for them. It was then, and only then, that I could forgive my mom for my damaged upbringing. But as for Kanye West, it’s shameful that everyone around him, the media and also his fans, are taking advantage of him and using him as entertainment and a media circus event. This poor man has admitted on several occasions in the past, that he suffers from mental illness, genuine mental illness, and no one cares? Hee hee haa haa, Kanye West just said something else insane on the news! Since when is mental illness a joke? People disgust me. When he’s dead from spiraling as far down as he can go, the media and fans will be sooo sad, sooo shocked. Ugh! Disgusting!!

No, not all. That's a major problem believing all blk people think the same and if a black person thinks differently, we call them sellouts. We won't reach anywhere with group thinking, every other race can have difference of opinion without being called sellouts. We the only ones who think we she have a hive mind. Democrats did create the kkk and the biggest lie is believing they switched sides. People actually believe that the leaders of confederates/democrats who wanted to keep us enslaved switched sides. The leaders of religion and politics never switch sides, only their followers may switch but the leaders never have in history. If you don't believe it, they still use the same strategy of using race to divide us. They only switched on convincing whites to hate blacks, to blacks to hate whites. They tell us they switched sides so we can hate those that helped us beat them in the civil war.

Kanye's thinking is light years ahead of the common mind. This has been his greatest challenge; that most cannot comprehend the depth of his statements....
@gamalielfasakin97002 жыл бұрын
but in actuality, he's actually light years behind the conversation within the black sphere, black intellectuals have been having these particular conversations for a very long time. from Booker t. Washington to adversarial engagement between Marcus Garvey and W. E. B. Du Bois etc( throughout the diaspora). these conversations have been had and understood quite well within the black community.kanye ignorance and is refusal to engage history properly, fuse his hubris that leads him to think He's the only one having this grand assessment and not realizing he's only an agent of history.

Kanye is not a genius he’s a musical artist that has been damaged and has a platform because of wealth / like having a church service on Sundays based on what ? Crazy

In my opinion, KW's apology was fake. Sometimes people apologize because they know it draws attention to them and softens people's opinion of them at the time.

We were deceived into hating each other through our culture. Van is right when he said they like when we disrespect each other, they enjoy when we're dissiapointed, they enjoy when we eat crow wow! Funny Van saying what Kayne said he has to deal with while working at TMZ spreading rumors gossip and has a history of reporting shit without all the facts first and other people have to deal with it lol. I wonder if they realize Kanye has been in circles for a while that these dude could never even get close to. He probably seen things he can never speak on. Did they ever think to ask a Kanye why he felt that way, or what has he seen to bring him to those conclusions? I doubt it. Good convo but there are many a holes in those parachutes yaw skydiving with in this discussion.

All you're doing is making excuses for the man. I don't doubt that Kanye has been introduced to culture that 99% if us will never understand. You know what I say to that? Who cares, so what? You want to get real here? Let's get real, the dude is an opiate addict. He's addicted to pharmaceutical opiates and has been ever since his mom died. That shit fucked him up, and I totally get why it fucked him up. She goes in for some plastic surgery and then is dead. Like what the fuck? So he's had some trauma, and he's an addict. That's the problem. It's obvious. Nobody wants to talk about it but it's fucking obvious. He gets clean he's cool Kanye again. Guarantee you that.

And you absolutely get it!!! Thank you!!! Reading these other comments made me wonder if I’m just sooo different. They are all ok with branding him as crazy rather to stop and think for a moment. So quick to respond but not quick at analysis.

The Kanye slavery comment is about mindset not physical slavery. We are still in mental slavery. You can create your reality with your mind that’s what he’s talking about.

Van my man..thank you brothers , this was a.most stimulating dialogue and I to as a negro woman dont like some of the vices or tactics society has put in place to play us against eachother, it saddens me as well to not know what's taking place around us that's why we have to educating ourselves on this world history, black history, and be involved in the right conversations with the right individuals so we can come to and be on common ground moving forward..again thank you for sharing, it was good❤💚🖤
