Exciting. I just read up a bit on Lake Drummond. It looked so huge in your video. Not bad.max depth is 6' and the color is caused by the heat moss. I have to go. Anyway, I can't wait to see the next video that you left us hanging onto. 😅 Be safe have a blast and see you soon.

Oh and when you said there's cotton I was thinking you meant the salt treatment for the roads. I was like what? I had to keep rewinding until I comprehended what you said. 1st "the side of the road" hahaha...the zoomed in. Of course duh..silly me. 🤦♀️

James, I think you should use a tarp and bungees to cover up that E bike. I would hate for that to get stolen from you on your travels. If it’s out of sight, out of mind for thieves, sorta. At least it’s not enticing some nefarious person if it’s covered. Glad you’re enjoying yourself out there! Be safe, looking forward to more of your adventures in upcoming episodes!

Hi James. You were practically in my backyard when you visited the Dismal Swamp. It's amazing. Lake Drummond is amazing. It looks deep, but it's deepest point is about 7 feet. It looks so vast. In the Outer Banks of NC, the largest dunes on the East Coast are at Jockey Ridge. If I knew you were here, First Landing State Park has a campground. We would have definitely paid for your stay. There another location but it's too cold for tent camping @ False Cape State Park. You park and have to walk in the rest of the way.

You never see any wildlife critters while trekking through the swamp? What do you carry for protection just in case? Like a walking stick, pepper spray, or tazer? I've been subbed a while, but the videos are becoming so much alike for me. I'll stick around for just a while longer.

This was very very educational. I can’t believe I didn’t know the story of the maroons in VA/NC😮. Spent sometime in Elizabeth City when I was nomading ( lived in my Honda Element) for 3 years a few years back …. Familiar with the Jamaican Maroons! Toward the end, sand dunes, one of your shots reminded me of Amelia Island/American Beach in Florida, have you been there ? A lot of history… American Beach is a historic beach community in northeastern Florida once popular with African-American vacationers. It is located north of Jacksonville on Amelia Island in Nassau County. During the time of segregation and the Jim Crow era, African Americans were denied access to many public amenities such as public pools and beaches in order to increase the value of nearby real estate, among other reasons. In view of this Abraham Lincoln Lewis, Florida's first black millionaire and president of the Afro-American Life Insurance Company, founded American Beach as a resort community that was visited mostly by African Americans, though all were welcome.[4] It contains the American Beach Historic District, a historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

What's the current temperature where your travel stop are? It would give us viewers an idea of what you're experiencing? You only eat once a day? Are you vegan? What about maintaining your dreads? What kind of oils do you use? How do you keep warm at night? Information would be useful to us contemplating traveling like this.
