I'm putting in 2 windows, starting today. I'll be cutting my wooden frame from 3/4 inch plywood. I have another vehicle I can use while the glue drys enough. That's on top of the OTHER projects on tap. (REVERSE camera stand alone system, and insulation/framing!)

When i put my fan in the roof i had no issues drilling or cutting the hole but when i went to cut the hole in for the window i actually felt nauseous and sick to my stomach right up until the window was in and screwed in place.

Hey guys ☺️ I’m gonna order one of these dometic roof lights but it says I can get either roof thickness of 25-42mm or 43-60mm don’t know if you could shed some light on this 🤣

Hi ☺ its the thickness from the metal of your van roof to where the fan will be fixed to. In our van we had to get the 43-60mm because the van roof reinforcement bars are already like 40mm thick plus adding battens ontop then cladding aswell. Hope that makes sense 😅
