Every video, there's just a little more fishing gear! I used to di some work for a Vancouver based fishing outfit who used to take customers up to Haida Gwaii and Alaska to fish for halibut. They had a big old minesweeper boat and would carry about 14 aluminum fishing boats on board for the fisherman to go and fish - if they caught a halibut, they had to call the guide over - he'd be in another aluminum boat. The customer would bring the fish to the boat, but they were allowed to try and get it on board until the guide had shot it. it was just two dangerous to try and wrestle a fish that size and strength into a boat, especially in freezing water.

Having owned a fish and chip shop in Canada for many years.. that piece of Halibut had to be at least 300-400 grams at $30.00 retail per 454 grams... The meal was a decent price, especially in Alaska, and if it made memories.. priceless!! So happy to see you both enjoying the wonders of the world we live in! Keep your wonderment alive.. so refreshing to see a couple with such joy for the little things in life! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, that second beach was stunning. And that salmon and bacon-wrapped asparagus dinner? That looked sooooo good, especially on a chilly beach... :)

You know that you can leave the husks on the corn when you put the on the fire. Just pour water on the husks before you fire them and they’ll scream instead of roasting.

Love the video… Dan commented to me that Naick is getting into the fishing gear, need rubber boots now; and the corn would be great rubbed with that truffle mayo, then cooked in tinfoil over the fire… yummy. And that was a great chunk of halibut. Nova Scotia is known for ‘fish’ and halibut is very expensive here as well…So that was a good deal and it looked soooo delicious. We just love halibut, but don’t have it often. Glad you will be posting more. Cheers guys ❤

Great video guys!! That piece of halibut was mouthwatering. Been years since I had any. It is pricey, no matter where you get it, unless you can catch one, that would be amazing.
