Check out a hardware store or Amazon for mothballs and coyote urine, put the mothballs in the corners of the engine bay so you wont have a fire and spray the Coyote piss all one the engine bay or have your animal urinate all over the engine bay. NO JOKE... Well maybe Rocco could have a problem with that. Mice are scared of predatory animal smells. Good luck and Happy trails...

Those 4X4 trails are old mining trails from way back. I drove my 1946 flat fender jeep from Ontario to Kaslo just to do them...excellent !!! Unless they have done some sort of maintenance to them I expect they may be too tight for your fan, also very narrow with 6" of ground between outside wheel and the edge on the Jeeps....VERY SCAREY! The alpine meadows were breath taking to say the least. Your hikes remind me of those peaks. IF you can go up them, beware but do go if they have widened them, the switchbacks are extremely dangerous also.
