I absolutely love your videos! My wife and I used to have a teardrop camper. We fell in love with the idea of just stopping wherever we found ourselves but the laws are a bit more strict in the US regarding wild or stealth camping no matter how small the camper is so we ended up selling.Wonderful stuff! Thank you! Perhaps one day we’ll adventure again!

Here in England the rules are tighter but the van is so small we can exploit many different options. We follow Nate on Element Van life in the USA. He seems to do quite well wild camping and he also uses an NV200. 👍

I'm from Canada and just recently found your channel (just finished watching your Outer Hebrides adventure and really enjoying it - on our wish list), you do a terrific job, very professional. We toured a good portion of Northern Ireland in 2014 (car rental) staying at B&B's. The Titanic museum blew us away and spent many hours there. We would like to visit Ireland and Scotland again in the not too distant future - it would have been this year except for the pandemic.

Those flowers look very much like Campanula, aka the bellflower (campanula means “little bell”). I see someone else has said it looks like Campanula too. It’s a bit difficult verifying it without a close-up of the flowers and leaves. Campanula have five petals just like these. I’m no Alan Titchmarsh. I simply recognise it as I bought some for the garden.

Great video, love following you two on your travels, excellent footage and really liked the drone shot of the castle. Like the use of the funnel to fill your water tank, I was wondering if you needed to take the whole thing in and out. Wanting my own van so it’s good to see all the little tips you are using when out and about in your little red van, thank you.

That walk looked great. Insider tips are always good. I wish I had known about the walk when I was doing the Antrim Coast in early 2019. I am enjoying following you in Ireland.
@LifeistooshortCK4 жыл бұрын
We are National Trust members so we can get in without paying the hefty entrance fee. Having said that the best experience is totally free along that path all the way to the causeway 👍 as long as people can cope with the 10 miles.

Hi guys, I was actually referring to the walk you did to the lighthouse. It looked really good. I am also a Nat Trust member from Australia. I can't say I was overly impressed with the giant's causeway but did really enjoy my time on the Antrim Coast. I might get a bit behind following you for a few days as I am going camping myself. Hi, I’m from Canada, but visited Ireland in 2016 and it’s high on my list of places to revisit when travel is possible again. Thank you for rekindling fond memories with your beautiful videos. Just wondering why you have reflective vests on your seats (sorry if this has been asked before)
@LifeistooshortCK3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lyndsey. Thanks for watching and glad we could bring back some fond memories for you. We bought the reflective jackets for our trip to France and Spain last year as it is a legal requirement to carry them in your vehicle there. We put them over our seats as you have to be able to reach them from inside the car. After our trip we decided to leave them on the seats for security as from a distance they make it look as if someone is sitting in the van!

We really would like to see the Titanic museum, shame you weren't allowed to take video. We are hopefully getting our wind deflectors delivered tomorrow as per your recommendation, so looking forward to that also we are looking at fitting windows to our van and wondered if you would recommend the sliding door windows that open as opposed to the fixed ones and also what make of heater do you have in little red ? Continue to have a great trip and we look forward to your next video Regards Alan and Yvonne
@LifeistooshortCK4 жыл бұрын
The wind deflectors are really worth it. We use them all the time. The sliding windows do get used but not as much as I thought they would. You can’t really use them in the rain and if it’s windy they make the gas ring go out at times. If it’s really hot in the van opening the side door makes the biggest impact. Carol says they are really worth having mind. Pretty sure our heater is a propex gas heater which runs on LPG. 👍

I'm enjoying following your travels, had a great day in Carrickfergus last week, got a sunny one, took my first driving lesson as an instructor in Carrickfergus in late 2000, worked then from North Belfast through Carrick and Whitehead as far as Larne. Wild Atlantic Way is amazing! I hope that it eventually extends North (it's actually east 😂) over to at least Ballycastle or even down the Antrim coast. Have done WAW in 2 sections in recent years by car staying in hotels and loved it am following the "Travel Trolls" channel on you tube too, you may run into them on WAW! Would love to have the freedom of a campervan and do it again that way. Hopefully you complete your holiday before next lockdown reaches us, so much to see and do in the whole of this Island, sadly just curtailed a lot this year.

It's a pity filming isn't allowed at the Titanic/Nomadic especially as they really dig the arm in pricewise. Sorry about your Carrick experience...further up the coast there is a quiet carpark at Madman's Window. Your campervan is dead cool and comfy looking. Enjoying your Irish roadtrip.

Kids will be kids and we are learning as we go to identify places that are more suited to a quiet night. Donuts require space so they go for larger car parks. We pulled into that car park you suggest at Glenarm for a cup of tea later 👍
