As a singleton, I always buy a turkey breast, it cooks much quicker and still leaves leftovers.

I am desperately thankful for not having to cook a raw turkey this year....I reheated smoked turkey legs, and they were WONDERFUL!! They only took a couple of hours in the oven! I am very thankful for my special side-kick, Roxy, my toy poodle! She turns 9 on 12/15/23! I can't believe it's been 9 years already! She is very healthy, so I hope for many more healthy years ahead!

I've gone through this hassle during some Thanksgivings. This year went without a problem. It's not hard to forget something. Just a note for those who don't want to go through this, many churches have Thanksgiving suppers. Pay a small donation and you're in. Sometimes they'll let the less fortunate in anyway. Peace.

@timrodatz1274 Жыл бұрын
Cheyenne and Laramie are some bad areas to stop at. Now if you like to get snowed in and very very bad roads to drive on ice can be 6-8 inches stay in that area when a blizzard comes at -25°F 85+mph winds yeah driving a semi in 12 hours was up passed the door of the truck. I really wouldn't recommend the winter up there in Van Life taking the chance of using all resources you got and run out of food, water, propane. Can't have enough propane to last. It gets so cold you gotta use everything you got to cover up with too stay warm and find cardboard to cover the grill so your motor can run with it freezing up. I'll never go up there in the winter again, getting to the truck stop wind blew me sideways across the interstate 5 times with truck and trailer till this day how I got it straightened out I can't tell ya. But good to see ya again.

For reals that was pretty optimistic of an oven event, esp for a van oven. Even our home oven would require multiple hours of cooking and I can only imagine all the xxx factors of a van oven given $$, age, wisdom, power source ect.. Fun video though. Would be rather frustrating as the hunger starts to build and you can "smell it" but not have it after probably what? 9pm....hahaha

Although it may have been a disaster to you, thanks for sharing. That's a turkey normally takes about three and a half hours it should have told you on the back and the bag how many minutes per pound. Don't give up though. You should try to do another one sometime when you're on a chill day when you have nothing to do and started around 1:00 p.m. or even a little earlier. The more you cook with them the better you get 🤗
