We moved to Budleigh Salterton 40 years ago from London and have loved our lives here. Our 5 children were safe from the drug epidemic sweeping London and they were able to play anywhere in the village and surrounding countryside safe from harm. All grown up and leading lives of their own. When you went to Beer you nearly got to the beech front if you had followed that road it would have taken you up to a car park suitable for your van you could then have walked down to the pub/ hotel right on the front sat and supped a beer in their garden sitting on top of the cliff with wonderful sea views. The quarry caves are amazing they are all hand dug miles under the sea and started by the Romans excavated to modern times. You need a guide because if you get lost down there you would never get out. Enjoyed your video and recommended it to my daughter who lives in New Zealand that will get her homesick even though like us she loves her new country. Thank you regards Mark.
