A very interesting video Jack, thanks for being honest and sharing, I think what you’ve expressed is perfectly normal in your situation. I’m a stresser and being on my own can sometimes amplify any issues I have. Just a thought but the van life community seems very supportive to other van lifers and sometimes will either bump into others on the road or meet up at certain points on their travels. Just a thought but a meet up for a day or evening to share experiences or problems maybe just what you need to break that ‘getting in your head’ moment. Re the channel, I think you’re doing a great job, it’s easier to just be your authentic self and that’s why your regular followers will tune. Take care and safe travels 😊

Hey, thanks for the positive vibes and the great advice! Maybe a van life meetup is exactly what I need. Appreciate your support!

Hey Jack. Don't overthink (I know, better said than done). Man, you're doing great and your videos are getting better all the time. You are so natural and confident in front of the camera. So you have the most important ingredients for KZbin. I can relate that the "homesick-thing" can be challenging (although I never experience that, because I was never been away from home for more than 2 weeks 🫠). Keep up what you are doing and all the best.
@jackvandean9 ай бұрын
I appreciate that! I was brought up in a household that never went away for longer than a week - so now 3 months is getting at me. and I guess there is also no shame in popping in for a coffee with the fam ...
@greybeard57749 ай бұрын
Well I would say you're doing great .. almost 8.5K subscribers for such a short time is the proof that people care about what you're doing .. and if you give them a little then you will get a lot in return .. tons of good vibes and positive energy from all over the world .. support and new friends .. so keep doing "your thing" because you're pretty good at it .. and all those alternator problems and road stress are actually like that darn mosquito in the night - problems that come and go .. they can be annoying, but life has shown that eventually things fall into place the best possible way .. just give it a bit of time .. and yeah .. there is such a saying - moss won't grow on a rolling stone .. so keep rolling, Jack 👍😁✌
@jackvandean8 ай бұрын
Who knew that a rolling stone gathers no moss, but apparently it can accumulate subscribers! Thanks for the reminder to keep pushing forward.

Hi JVD I empathise with the stress and strain of the feeling of having to do. I’ve heard it said by others in the van life community, that they took up this life style to get away from the pressure of life, only to experience new ones like you describe. Just take it slow it’s your journey we are here to enjoy the ride. Still loving the quite voice. Until next time enjoy

Isn't it weird - how we seem to want to have conflict, stress etc ... Is it time to learn Yoga or Meditation, I wonder ... Thanks for your kind words
@JonTanOsb9 ай бұрын
Did you check Google maps for a garage near you and check their ratings before your alternator repair? Maybe find a good one and have things checked over. The money is worth your peace of mind. Oh, that opening scene. I wish my body looked half that good. :) But I'm old, grey and short, with a pot belly. Sigh. I'm further on in your video now. You might want to check if your battery connectors are on tight. When Monty's battery kept going flat, it turned out the positive connector had a crack. Once I got it replaced, and the battery fully charged, he drove like a dream and I haven't had a flat battery since. Knock wood. :) This is the first time I've found your channel. I like it. Subbed. Mosquito trick: turn on the dimmest light possible aimed around your lap. Sit well covered with your hands free and rub together your thumb and finger so it makes a soft whisper noise. This will attract the little sucker. Sit quietly, she will also be attracted to your breath. When you see her, track with your eyes until you can smack her out of the air. They do fly slowly.

Takes a dc to dc charger in the system to charge from engine to house batteries or vice versa and in terms of features and price, the sky is the limit and you don't start at the ground floor.

Wow, Jack.
@jackvandean9 ай бұрын

Get your testosterone levels checked, when they decline with age it can create a physiological stress in males that can be remedied with supplementation. You will have more energy and feel more relaxed.
