I started VAN LIFE because i was tired of the day to day routine of doing the same thing, same job, same drive to work, same mornings, same nights...everything was the same day after day. Van Life has been just an awesome experience since day one. This full time for me. I am in this for the long haul. I Love Van life. Its been the best choice i have ever made. I started Van life with my English bulldog names Disco. He is my hommie and my heater lol. I Built my van build is simple to show everyone that you can start Van Life with just the basics and build your van as you go. That you don't need a big fancy build to get started. VAN LIFE is closer then you think. just grab the basics you need and get started. You will figure out what you need after you are in the van. I don't have solar or battery banks, a sink or an electric fridge. I didn't need that stuff to get started. I am sure in the future at some point when i feel the need for those things i will get them. But so far i have everything i need without all the fuss and stress of Solar panel, deep cycle batteries, and a full van build. One day maybe but right now i feel at home in my van with everything i need.
I have dedicated my life right now to doing youtube full-time, i have fallen in love with the creative aspect of filming and editing. I am still learning and and grinding to make this a full time gig for me. I would love to earn enough through youtube and Patreon to be able to travel and film for you and the world everyday. To share my journeys from my prospective and to inspire and uplift my viewers to be themselves and life the life they want. To be who they are truly meant to be. YOU.

When you want to turn off your propane heater. Make sure you turn off the propane first and let the heater burn the last of the propane in the lines. That's how you prevent your heater lines from not getting clogged with propane.

Flatten the boxes and put them under the bed! Let Amazon provide you some extra floors insulation. Quieter when rolling too!

I've also heard that putting cardboard under your mattress helps prevent the mattress from getting damp and mouldy....I have no idea if thats true or not but hey the extra insulation would probably help

Disco, damn near on cue! What a guy! Cardboard is a good insulator :) Great job on the heater. I have heard great things about the Wave 3, although expensive, well worth it in the long run and if you don't have a 1200.00 rent bill to pay, you can afford to be living comfy! I don't know about living in my van, yet... but I most certainly want to spend more time inside it. I have not done any work to it yet, seats all in there still but I have been looking at plans to maybe start something. Being nearly 59, and I do have some medical conditions that may not allow me to "live" inside it in the winters but we shall see. Love your channel here Chrome and we do love Disco! I have dogs and cats, cats would be an issue for sure, but I have enough friends that would look after them well, so not too concerned there, and the dogs would be with me of course. Life without them would be too hard. Weirdos unite and stay true to yourself. Be kind.

Hey!! I am currently waiting on my Wave 3. I have read lots of reviews. A bit more money but safer, longer lasting and better heat. Please post a video when you mount this heater so the rest of us can watch and learn. Let us know what you & Disco think of the sleeping bag. Stay warm!!!

I thought the same thing about water, and I made a plan and executed it, to my surprise, perfectly! Under my rear end DIY platform bed I installed a 25 gallon fresh water tank. After cleaning it inside and out and installing it under the bed I attached a 30psi- max 40psi auto -shutoff ShurFlo water pump, an inlet hose to a locking outside access panel door for filling it up, and a 110 inch almost all metal shower hose with a showerhead with a shutoff valve. Fill it up maybe once every 2-3 weeks, and keeps my dog happy with unlimited water supply! Congrats on moving up to that 5 or 10 gallon water jug you got there. You should clean it with a 1/4 cup of regular bleach and fill it up with water..let it soak like that for an hour or so, then rinse it out a couple of times. That way you get all the oils and contaminates outta there from the manufacturing process. It's freaking cold here in San Francisco, but nothing like up there!. I wanna check out your new heater link.. I need one of those for me and Pali. Stay warm... Disco too!

Going to massage therapy school firstly and then in August - upon graduation - BOOM.....it's travel time. SOOOOOOOOOO excited! On the 3 Wave Heater a 20lb tank " On it's low setting it uses approximately 1/15 lb per hour so it should run around 300 hours" !

She from New Jersey but now lives here in Florida. We dont have to many cold nights. And we've only had snow that actually accumulated about 28 years ago. The sand was still whiter than the snow. Thats how u could tell which was which. Great job on the choice of heaters. The Wave is by far the best for #VanLife. Its the safest and the most efficient heat to use. Try to keep warm. Another great, fun video, you have a talent. I've been debating on heat source almost got a buddy, but, I'll look for your next video on the 3wave. That paper stuffing is better than those damnable popcorn fillers. If I lived near you, I would be asking for that cardboard, I go to the recycling center for the stuff. I use a lot of flat cardboard to put on the walkways, absorbs water and crud and keeps down weeds. Also use under canvas I paint with a paint roller when making floorcloths. Floorcloths were used before linoleum was invented.

The last of a 6 inch snow has melted here near Atlanta!! Serious guilt after an Amazon delivery but I think on all the gas I saved and I just break 'em down! Hopefully there's an ecological trade off and less shopping (not a big "consumer") as nomads over us home "owners"... Hey!! "let it SNOW!!
