Thank you for the sunny account of your fun outdoor workouts and showering! We also exercise a lot outside, are avid hikers and camp for weeks and weekends in PA. You did an awesome job using the dumbbell as a kettlebell. Please consider making a future video of a full 30-60 minute outdoor workout, using your equipment and whatever nature that happens to be near, such as rocks and stumps. That would be so cool to workout along with you outside on our mountaintop!

Thanks. That was helpful. Good to see that that will work. I am drawing out a roughish lay out. Drew in a wet bath/ toilet space and tried imagining how I’d use it when even the smallest composting toilet would take up all the space. Not really much better than a sponge bath. Want a toilet but think that the way you bath is so much better. That tent is awesome good. Just the exercise of thinking about what you’d want in a van makes a person think a lot about what is important for them and how to fit them in. Good to have ideas of how other people have dealt with those questions.

Get video. I find exercise essential on the road. Especially important to stay fit for those long hikes. I just got an inflatable SUP and love, love, love my on-the-water yoga. Not much opportunity for that in the dessert, I suppose. I prefer bands over weights because of the weight in the rig. Thank for the Get Fit Guide. Looking forward to giving it a try. Keep the vids coming, L&A. Peace.

I got so excited when I saw that tent! Lol, that is the exact same tent that I bought to shower and poop in when I went into long field training exercises in the Army. Initially the guys made fun of me for needing to shower in the wild, but they came crawling over when I let them poop in it lol If the ground is too hard to stake into, you could also get some paracord (or any string) and tie it to a rock, etc

it's so hard to have a very low carbon footprint these days, so I try the best I can without sacrificing too much of comfort, security, necessities (do what we can approach). I think this is your first video without akela as the main star. 😀 just so you know, if you have the sun (or anything bright) behind you or a light source inside, your silhouette will be pretty clear inside most shower tents and also night vision goggles.

That’s a lot of weight to carry around in a van. Have you considered exercise bands? My wife and I have not yet hit the road as we are still building but we will be taking some pretty heavy duty bands which are relatively lightweight and easy to store.

Is it for absolute beginners? Is it for people who have had a few classes and just want to shift outside the gym? Do you need equipment to get started or to use all your guidance or just some of it or none of it? What forms of payment are you accepting and is it secure? I’m excited for you getting a product out like this to build your business!

Hiya. Just wanted to give a quick PSA on river washing. Biodegradeable is mostly ok on earth as long as it's about 200 feet from water. Digging a whole is even better. It does pollute water sources though so always wash any soap off away from the water source
@brianmi40
@brianmi40 3 жыл бұрын
The EPA guideline, is for 1 ounce of biodegradeable soap to be diluted by at least 156 gallons of water to be safe for fish. In a flowing river, that 1 ounce will be diluted in over 1,000 gallons within about 2 minutes, or over 9 times the requirement. Any person using a reasonable amount of biodegradeable soap should have no concerns in a flowing stream or river. We have way worse corporate polluters to be worrying about.

@@laululla We can ask no more than to follow the guideline. That's why we develop them. No one can know about "others". I stand by my statement. In even a mid-sized river of decent flow, it would take hundreds washing simultaneously to risk surpassing the EPA guideline.
