Simple, cheap and effective. Nice work! FYI that plumber's tape is actually called aluminum tape. Plumber's tape is teflon tape that goes over the threads of fittings.

Wow. Compared to all these extravagantly built vans you review, I like your style. Simple, cheap, effective. Very cool.

I was looking for a way to utilize a battery powered pump/faucet setup, but after seeing your video and evaluating my needs I think this is the way I want to go. Very good info! I'm glad people like you are out there showing your setups.
@Al-eg4bm5 жыл бұрын
This is what sucks about posting your setups to YT. You can make all the disclaimers you want, and some armchair commenter will tell you what you did wrong, how you’re not smart, and backhandedly insult you for not doing it their way. Nice build.

I really like how simple and easy this sink setup is. Thanks for showing us a closer look of it!

What a great idea for a simple little setup! Especially when you don't have alot of money or just don't want to do some extravagant setup. I think that's exactly what I will do when I get my vehicle to live in. At least at first, until I am sure of how I'm going to arrange things or maybe it won't be something permanent in case I decide to switch my vehicle. Who knows? The point is, this is perfect and thanks for the video!

Love this video and got the same pump because of your video. Thank you. Mine leak at the arm where you pump the water. I hope it can be fix because I love this little pump. No electricity required.

Very helpful vid, thanks Nate! I was getting a bit worried about how difficult it might be to set up a sink etc - not being much of a handyman myself - and the simplicity of your setup was inspiring. Thanks! Best wishes - Derek (New Zealand)

SO simple that even I can do it! Thanks Nate!

great simple idea. I would drill from inside the sink down, this would eliminate the small lip around the hole, preventing all the water from draining. really like your setup.

This was incredibly HELPFUL! So simple! What size clear tubing did you use for the rocket pump faucet?

That does help. I like what you figured out. I like the sink facet. Mixing bowl... nice. I've heard of some using metal salad bowls. I'm gonna bring my drill with me when the time comes. :)

It would've been easier and cheaper to do it this way- salad bowl $3, stainless drain(any big box store) $3, pvc or tubular ptrap(big box) $3, pvc pipe to length or 1 ten foot piece 3$. I cannot recommend enough, do it right the first time instead of slapping it all together with the "intention" of fixing it later..... I'm sure most people would agree, it never happens until a travesty unfolds! Quick heads up to all full time RVers, in alot of states there are Habitat For Humanity ReStores. Everything besides the bowl itself will undoubtedly be at this store and you'd probably get it for free or perhaps a buck. Something to remember! Two Thumbs up on ingenuity EVL!

that's ok and it's working. you'd be better guaranteed not to leak by a simple sink drain from Walmart. of course you'd need to cut a larger hole, but it would drain better too. still not bad. I like the pump.

Hey Kirk. What link isn't working? I just tried the link on my website and from the description here and they both seem to be working fine?
@kirkarsineau76127 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the quick reply Nate. Much appreciated buddy ! Its not the link that isn't working, its the sink pump itself that's not working. Cheers
@ElementLife7 жыл бұрын
Haha oh, that's not good. I had to play with it a bit to get it to work the first time. Make sure the vinyl tubing you use is tight enough. It should be an air tight seal.
@kirkarsineau76127 жыл бұрын
I used vinyl tubing that was fairly hard to put on the end but didn't try using the clamp i bought. Do you think it could be as simple as that? lol . Imagine?!?! I'll give it a try Nate

After two years it's become a bit leaky if you leave the lever in the up position while not using it. Otherwise it works well.
