An incredible concert! Van was as brilliant as ever, clearly enjoying himself on stage. Chris Farlowe was a fantastic addition-at 84, his voice still sounds amazing. A huge shout-out to the band, led by the phenomenal Dave Keary, whose talent brought the show to life. What an unforgettable performance!

Thank you! It's the top quality of the microphones, and naturally post production work with Audacity! The sound at the Brighton Dome is really good, when you start with a good audience sound, then everything is easier, if you have good equipments.

@@massimomeregalli7321 I have seen Van around 6 times starting in the mid 70s and his performances have ranged from the sublime to the awful. This must be one of the very best and both he and Chris Farlowe are in great voice but Chris seems to have some health issues. Van on the other hand is looking positively svelte

Love to watch live concerts and that's how I got to discover my new favorite blues singer....the incomparable Chris Farlowe still singing the blues at 84!!!! God bless him🙏 watching everything he did now from the beginning with out of time and up to his gigs with Notman Beaker band Hamburg blues band and Coliseum He's wonderful!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Unbelievable production, thanks. Audio is as good as any Van audience tape I can think of. Not through it all, but noticed So Quiet In Here has an interesting arrangement. He sounds pretty "on."

Thank you!!! I tried to do my best. It's not always easy, but luckily my directional microphones allow to avoid most of the audience noise - and in the theatre people was very silent - other than giving an excellent Hi-Fi sound, audacity doing the rest. Many arrangements are very interesting, and I love the duets with Chris Farlowe!

I used to be a huge Van fan, from the 70s to 2000. Silver fan anniversary. Did not like the last albums, though. But thank you very much for the video + the show. Big hand for the band! Van never played with bad musicians.

The show was organized to promote his new release. So he played tracks from the last album, and the most recent ones. And we do not always need to go to a concert only for hearing something that we know perfectly well. This show was great because he had this big band and, actually, the show was perfect, with a lot of swing.
