i had a sub to hot rod magazine in 1975. they had van coverage. the vans were awesome like the red one at the end. they also talked about van pulling contests. 70's vans were it!

A shorty Dodge or Chevy Van, with side pipes, wide Oval or posAtraction bas ply tires on a 10 inch wide Centerline or Cragar, Keystone rim, Rocket, it's on my list. Good stuff Bob!

This video is awesome. I love this kind of content. I saw one van and I could tell right away that it was Ryan from Danny’s shop painted it. They also did a video on his van. I can’t remember if it was on the show or on KZbin. You are correct, that van is probably in excess of $200k. He bought it from a band that used it to haul equipment. 👍👍

In almost all of the New England states you had to have windows in the side or it had to be registered as a truck . Today you still need windows to travel on “parkways” in NY. Parkways (there are a lot in NY. ) are highways that are well maintained and pretty to drive on . But have no trucks on them , so to travel unrestricted in NY . You need at least one window in the side of the van… even today ….

The red vampire smoke Ford van is all you just told me a while ago that the van that’s correct with the 1970s Opal vent windows if it was done back in the 70s that would be perfect. Everything he got done he just added to it. I don’t know the inside yet and you have done not no video of this dude but you need promote him. He straight up correct he got the smoke flames.
