Im wondering..why do private planes often go for that t tail plus engines back on the empennage config ? The t-tail has a chance of super stalling, the engines are harder to get to for maintenance, their weight is at the back so i imagine the plane is less stable in a stall, you have to get the fuel lines all the way there and there is no gravitic fuel feed backup so if the pumps fail the engine quits...what is the advantage of this config ? Less fuselage turbulence on the tail ? better engine safety on bad airstrips ?
