Van Nuys High School is on lockdown as multiple students were stabbed

Los Angeles Police Department responded just before 11 a.m. to a campus stabbing. Multiple students were stabbed and investigators are working to locate the suspect(s).

Well the teacher's son was jumped by many. These kids run in packs like hyenas so while there's a sick ass stabbing there's others to be held accountable for their contributions to society. I'm so sick of this BS too. Lock them up, try them as adults and throw away the key. Not trying to hear anybody is mentally ill this time. I'm sure whoever did the stabbing their mother would be the first to shout "not my son. He's a good child!". This is the result of parents not parenting. Back in the day, I was so scared of my mom. If we acted out, she would show up and sit with us during class middle school high school she would come and sit with us the WHOLE DAY!!! If parents took time to discipline and be more involved in school and their lives they wouldn’t be acting out like this. My mom used to do weekly checks we would come home from school to find our rooms destroyed while she raided EVERYTHING! drawers, closets, checked sweaters and pockets and inside the shoes she would kick our butts if she found anything bad! I live in VA. And not terribly long ago, a very disturbed 6yo shot his teacher in the stomach. The school ignored all the warnings, the kid had the gun in his backpack. This kid had every problem known to man and should have been in a special school. Instead, they made the mom stay with the kid thru the day. On the day of the shooting mom wasn't there. Thank God the teacher survived and she got all the kid out safely. It was just an nightmare. This was a 6yo boy!

I'm 63, I was terrorized by a group of girls in the rural part of San Diego during middle school and the early part of high school. They trapped me in the bathroom and said soon they were gonna knock my teeth out and rip my hair out of my head. They had performed such things on another attractive girl at our school already. I went to the principal. I was told there was nothing that they could do. If I was 'scared' , then I was told to switch to another school. Back then, you had to attend the public school in your district only. My parents couldn't swing private school, so I had to face them each day with zero support. A friend to them and I, stepped in on my behalf and through the grace of God I was spared a beating. Maybe this should have been dealt with a long time ago!!

😢i just have no words...truly....when is it enough? my 13 yr old sons school had to be put on multiple hold in place lockdowns last year....it got to the point i took him out of school because at the end of the day thats my child and i will always do whatever necessary to keep him safe....long story short that prompted a cps case because the school reported me for him not attending, and i stood firm on what i just said when they showed up at my door.....i did it then and will do it again at any time i feel like sending my child to school is no longer safe, and if they want to talk im open to that but the moment they try to patronize me then the conversation is over, idc about the law idc about what someone else feels is right, that is my flesh and blood and i will not ever remove my child from my side if i feel its the wrong thing to do. They can arrest me and tell the judge I'm standing in court because i refuse to do anything below protecting my child. Clearly my concerns werent the only concerns around considering this year the district just announced the new safety measures they will be spending over a million dollars to put in place in every building in the district including metal detectors and bullet resistant windows for EVERY school....i always believed in my decisions and why i did what i did but when they announced that it literally just completely solidified it for me. these stories break my heart...every time. Each day....no each second that passes us everything just continues to become worse and worse...and no one, absolutely no one is off limits anymore .. not even our babies 😢

Public’s schools are getting worst and worst for the kids…I’m working on making sure my kid doesn’t have to go one year in public school and it is expensive but public schools are dangerous now, even collage with fraternities and sororities are dangerous and even joining the service is dangerous. Anything that was once supposed to be good or decent for society has became pretty dangerous now.
