We have a look at the Van Rysel EDR CF 105 DISC.
A nice mix of gloss and matt black frame with full 105 hydraulic disc brake groupset. 160mm disc at the front 140mm at the rear.
Comes with 25mm tyres, can take a 28mm.
Available only online in XS, S and M at this time.

Great bike! I have one last week. I missed some small details before buying it, with the service. But i get easy free first service after 6 months of use. I instal 6cm steam and new casset 11/32 for some hilly climbs, and for flat road 11/28 il use. I love thin tyers 25c and maybe next one il get 28c just because carbon is very stiff and i need some absorb on bumps when i go and hit those Brevets 200km

Is the EDR CF available as a frameset? I have a Triban 520 105, and I’d be interested in swapping its components onto an EDR frame when it comes time to upgrade.

It is available as a frame, however these are without fittings and are meant to be sold only for replacing an existing frame after a crash or warranty reframe.

I cannot confirm or deny that another bike may exist in the pipeline at this time i am afraid. Loose lips, sink ships and all that jazz 😉 but keep your eyes peeled next year……

Hello. Just a quick question regarding this particular frame: how easy is it to swap the internally routed cables on it? I've been looking all over for some information on this frame's internal construction, but I couldn't find anything about it. Does it have proper guide channels or will I have to painstakingly fish the cables out the other side and curse my choice to work on this bike? Cheers.

From memory it is fully sheathed, unlike the old Ultras, it is relatively easy on these frames, since the cables head into the downtube rather than through the headset.

Is it the same shape as the AF? Would the AF be similarly still to a specialized allez ?

Pretty much the same shape and geometry with regards to the seat tube and head angle, however the reach and stack are different in the CF. Longer reach by 1cm, shorter stack by 3cm. So expect a flatter back from the low front end.

Crack on and fit 30mm if you like, just be aware it will be at your own risk and may void your warranty if you get frame rub. Alternatively check out our Gravel bikes that will have more clearance for bigger rubber.
