Mr. Splat -- I built my RV-9A and have flown it for 10-years over many varied flight conditions. I must say, I have never seen even the slightest indication of any problem with the vertical stab mounting bracket dueing the condition inspections over that time. Van's did a wonderful job at engineering the RV-9A in my opinion!

Nice Mod. Some like this just enhances safety. Vans did a great job designing these planes. Vivian, Antisplat made this mod because THERE WAS A CRACK IN A RV BRACKET
