Spyrers are still as OP as they were back in the 90s. Lol. FYI, Flak armor gives a 5+ save against blast and flamer template attacks, so those cultists made a few 5+ saves that you counted as failed.

Yeah SPYRES are horrible. Interestingly the man catcher flamer has a -1ap on it making it quite horrible.
