@@OurVanLifeWithKids were 95% done, we've done a few videos of some 2-3 night trips but think we're gunna make a few changes before any longer ones, we've squeezed 3 kids and a dog in our short wheel base so definitely think that extra foot would have helped 😂

I love van Tours. We are in the process of downsizing from our Talbot Express thst fits into a normal car parking space to a Mazda Bongo that also fits into a normal car space. But haven't decided to sell the Talbot. Video tour on Talbot just been released on our channel. Also one of the Bongo a month ago. What would you do. Cheers from old George and Jane

Thank you so much for this video. I learnt alot. Can i ask you how you got your bench seat to recline? I want to keep it but hate how it doesn't recline as its uncomfortable when travelling.

Hi Jessica, we hear you! It is soo uncomfortable…we fitted this recliner and it definitely helps. Whats the etiquette with the toilet? Do you carry a tent to go with it so your not doing your business indoors? Or is it an only use in emergency toilet?

Haha great question, sort of depends on the trip, the last couple of years(covid) we’ve used a collapsible toilet tent so we are fully self sufficient. Here’s a video of our last European set up: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmbNiXaIgbSaq9E which shows our toliet and shower set up.

We have a long wheelbase pop top van, there are only two of us. When the wind blows strongly, we put the pop top down. With 4 people and no choice but the other two people using the top bed, what do you do, do you risk damaging the pop top ?

We’ve only ever experienced one big storm in Switzerland, thankfully we were positioned under a sheltered location but we always try to position the van in line with what the weather might do.

Hey guys , we have just bought a vw converterd campervan and we are trying to maximise our storage space. Just listened to your hints and tips and I'm.curious how u put up your hooks In the van. Did u drill? Also where did u get the colour full hooks from?

Woohoo! The adventure begins! We got the hooks from Ikea, here’s an Amazon link…not sure if they still do the multi coloured ones:amzn.to/3hQSR3s yep we just drilled the screws in. We made sure positioned them so we were drilling into the plywood rather than the metal. Hope that helps, thank you very much for watching.
