@@SmallVansBigWorld well there is only me and my fur babies. I have no problem with outside showers and being able to clean the pup's. I would think it would save more room and moisture control. I need to live in it.

@@DeborahLong7777 Moisture control...that's why God made exhaust fans. We found outdoor showers in Jan and Feb weren't real great in most of the country. Also tended to draw gawkers if we happened to be in a campground. Glad we did both an indoor shower and outside sprayer for tasks on our second build

They have worked on a full sized Transit before, which was a 2019 high roof, 148" wheelbase with the non extended body.

This is our 2nd high roof van we have converted. It’s a lot more fun because there are so many different ways to build a custom camper van and you can get really creative with it with all the extra space you have. The small van is fun as well, but very limited. We believe we came up with the best layout that is practical and a great use of space. From there we can tweak certain things to fit the clients’ needs.

I’m curious as to how much this build (without the shower set up) would cost if I bought the van… don’t expect an exact price, just trying to get an idea of the build out cost for someone professional to do it instead of me… Thx

You're looking at $45k+ for labor and materials, price can vary alot depending on features and accessories you want.

Fabulous! Shower design is excellent, just one question, could you store the shower curtain inside the shower pan? If you could and it had cord threaded through the top it would then be easy to put up.

Wild van did something similar to you. See video. They’ve got cord threaded through the curtain top but haven’t solved the problem of storage. I wouldn’t want to battle getting it into a bag! If the shower pan was deep enough to take it folded that would be ideal. Once it’s dry of course, needs to be a quick drying curtain. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIPLdHaCpZh2nM0

The shower lip is very short from bottom to top. How do you make sure the water doesn’t leak over the lip?

What year is this van? Looking at the photos on your website, it looks to be a 2015-2017 model year. Is it a 250 or a 350? Also, did you know that Ford is discontinuing the Transit Connect after this model year?

I believe this van was a 2015, it’s the 250 wheelbase and extended. Based on what we have seen, it looks like Ford is discontinuing the FTC in the US after this year.

Awful design. Why would I want to go to the bathroom in front of someone else or see or smell some one else going to the bathroom?? Also having a bed constantly taking up room just shows no imagination in design. Why is it that American van builders just can't seem to build anything impressive like a Wingham? Having a bed drop down saves space. Also no real bathroom just sucks. Do better, fail.

Good lord its a great build! What does being American have anything to do with it? I don't think ethnicity plays a role in the build, we are all humans. But nevertheless the build he mentioned is for 1 person in the video. This is more than good enough!

We're doing a build on a 159 wb extended and we decided long ago we don't want to F around with setting up or taking down a bed. We WANT a fixed bed position and NEED fixed storage space under the bed for many things! I'd rather use my imagination to imagine how I would torture and humiliate arrogant, negative a-holes that don't know anything but feel the need to criticize and reveal their tiny brain.
