VAN TOUR: Nissan Elgrand Camper Conversion

Take a look at this bespoke camper conversion on a Nissan Elgrand E52 from the guys at GB Camper Conversions in Tamworth.
We had a few specific requests from our customer with this build, and after an initial consultation, we were able to bring the vision to life. With an L-shaped seating arrangement and a pull-out bed at 1 meter wide and just short of 6ft in length, we managed to really maximise the available space. We even managed to squeeze a compact storage unit with a nice size worktop too.

Very njjce. Gd looking build. One thing I would have done different would be,were the toilet is,I would had just made the lid to the box that housed it, able to lift up and put binges on the front to open as a door, for use without having to pull it out. And for the storage area,hinging the counter top part over it so you Can get stuff without getting out of the van in bad weather.

Hi, I have a question - what about MOT and insurance for such a conversion? I'm planning on conversion my Nissan Serena and I don't know what to do with it

I really can't see the point of this, rather clumsy (although made to a good standard), IMO, conversion? The placement of the electrical power input is just asking to be ripped off at the first speed bump or steep drive ramp!
