Lovely lady...I want to say thank you Bob, I was a abused house wife with no savings no job due to disability no home. The house I was living in was my husbands , he always reminded me of that fact. I came across one of your videos. It was the one of a woman living in her car on 800.00 a month. What I saw was a woman determined to survive and thrive. That was my changing moment. Hope had entered my life! I was expecting about 1,200.00 from income tax my husband and I were splitting. I got my sons help and bought ab1974 coachman rv. It was older but in good shape. It is my home now...My Home! Thank you and all the people who showed me how great life can be, even in a rv. 😂

I love this home! I just really like vans. I have been driving a van for over 20 yrs. and I said I wanted to drive my old van until my youngest daughter gets out of college. But she will be starting graduate school this fall and go for three years. And I think I can make my old van last a lot longer than that. I love my van so much I would consider getting a high top for it. My husband wants a big cargo van. But I could make what we have work. My van was wonderful when the kids were little. And taking big vacation. And most recently my van has helped with getting my father in law and my father to their medical treatment. And it’s been my transportation to my surgeries and dr. Appts as well. I will pick a van over any vehicle out there. For comfort and the gas mileage is decent too. Love this sweet lady and her van home. God bless you Rose and you mr Wells, Leslye

Rose is lovely, and I love how she is making the van fit her needs and what makes her comfortable. One thing that Rose as well as a few others made me realize is family. I'm a guy who is not mechanically inclined lol, but I am sure Rose feels the love from her sons when she moves around her van seeing and using the things they put in or fixed up. It's a lovely feeling looking at her reaction, how proud she is, and how loved she seems to feel with the support and love from her sons and family.

I aegree you did the best thing and it is what I am going to do. Class B's are so crowed with a lot of non useable things. They have a ton of cabnaits that are small and don't hold a lot. You don't get a garage. You can decorate a van the way you want. By using shelves instead of cabnits it feels more open. I really like your van and your ideas. great job.

@notanotherusername5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing your van, Rose! You seem like a really kindhearted person. I have a small suggestion as a truck driver, please try not to take any of the long spots and instead please try to park where the cars go. Truckers can only drive for 11 hours and then they are required to stop for a full 10 hours, and sometimes parking can be hard to come by. It is valuable real estate! Lol When I have to use the restroom at night, truck stops are better than rest areas because there are always people around and it's well lit. I just stick to the main ones- Pilot, Flying J, Loves, TA and Petro. If you're ever near Atlanta, that city loves to boot cars AND trucks. Avoid Union City, GA! We paid $500 for them to take the boot off and we had just parked 15 minutes ago and hadn't even gotten out of the truck. There are people whose job it is to watch and see if you went into the store you parked in front of, and then boot you if you happen to go into the adjacent store. It's crazy. You should be fine at a truck stop though. Walmart parking lots can have rules about overnight parking, but I LOVE the little foldable barrier you have! It can feel vulnerable to have something sitting in the windshield while you're asleep. If it doesn't look like anyone is there, that's even better! -Abigail

This lady has a deep happiness down in her soul. I see it often in the people you interview, Bob. I think it comes from being right where you are supposed to be, doing what you are supposed to be doing, following what makes you happy. I don't find this so much in the work world. That speaks volumes. And you also, Bob, are where you're supposed to be. That's why the people you interview shine so well and are able to share with us their knowledge.
