Hi Guys. Just bought my T3 literally yesterday. How do you remove the speakers from the door panel ? Mine don't want to bulge !

You need to remove the door card, disconnect the speaker wires and unscrew the speaker housing collar that is on the back side of the door card.

How did you separate the old Blaupunkt speaker from it’s housing? Is it clipped, screwed or is it molded so that the speaker needs to be cut out?

I need an answer to this question too. Mine definitely aren’t just popping out.

I gently squeezed the speaker housing all the way around. Make sure it isn’t too cold in your workspace or they may break. You’ll be able to hear the old glue cracking and then you’ll be able to wiggle the speaker out of the housing.

Yes, it took a while, but the heat of my hands eventually got it to twist a little, until it finally let loose.

Hi, these are not usually used in the front doors, usually ones in the back section of a camper above the rear seats, nice fix though. I've still got my old units in case I found a way to refurbish.

Hello, you are right. The rear over head cabinet has same speakers.

In our '83 Westy these are the OEM speakers that are mounted in both the front doors and in the overhead cabinet above the rear seat.
