Beautiful b-roll videography on this one, Wes! I have the same watch, so I can appreciate all the dial nuances you captured! I was thinking it would look super huge on your wrist, but I think you pulled it off! Probably too bulky on the NATO style strap.

@@karlos543 I have not. However, I have not worn it a ton. DLC watches can scratch pretty easily. That's their only downfall.

Very nice design. I agree on the date and cutting off the 30. We can see it's a VB watch, I'd just have put LEA on the caseback and put Automatic there and there could have been a full 30 marker. The side branding and the strap branding is a bit Invicta like and I'm not a fan though the strap otherwise suits the watch very well. Case looks nice though, nice crown love that lume on it, and size wise it's good for my bigger wrist. I wouldn't have bothered with the display caseback, it's an NH35, nothing to look at but it's a good secure choice of movement. Dial Lume is impressive, the price is actually good for the specs. Not mad about the colour scheme though. I understand it has a field/military look but it's a bit dull. They have another model VBLE162, I'd love to see that red colour on this watch with this same strap. Excellent review Wes.

Cheers mate and agreed on the excessive branding not a fan. Definitely would have preferred a solid caseback as well. But other than that, it's impressive

The VBLE161/162 looks like it has "automatic" positioned on the dial with a bit of thought. On this watch it just looks like an afterthought.

"You guys with big wrist" 🙋‍♂this is me and i like this watch a lot. Id rather buy the purple VBAO first but its backorder and i don't see much anymore on the secondary market. But what might make me take the plunge and not wait is the price. I don't know if its because im in Canada and its a Canadian store but the price is almost incredible for what i saw and the reviews. I want one, next paycheck perhaps.

I kinda like it! Its in your face and bold but I think it pulls it off nicely! That water resistance is impressive as well! Weirdly the only confortable huge watches I love to wear is my G-shocks. They are big but light. I have huge watches that are 130g+ and the start to annoy me at the end of the day. I think this will be fine! The lume is super interesting as well! Thanks for sharing bud!
