Soz, but you are incorrect, this is a VK63 movement. The VK64 only had 2 dials and NO date window. The 3 oclock dial is a 1 hour counter linked to the chronograh and the 9 oclock dial is a watch second counter. The VK64 is a true bi=compax design. The VK63 has the date function and 3 dials, but when cobbled witha bi-compax, you loose the 6 oclock time seconds dial but use the nearly useless 3 o clock 24 hour display dial.

You why I'm here, right? Trying to talk myself out of purchasing Duro. I like you analysis but I've come to conclusion "lugs don't overhang" is, like, absolute bare minimum and for watch to look best it has to mate with wrist. Wrist table (flat part) has to be at least same (ideally - a bit bigger) as flat part of watch' bottom and lugs curve down (if they are curved) the wrist - but ideally wrist dimensions would be just a bit bigger than of watch so watch lying flat on wrist doesn't have one lug lifted up like on 9:04 - it could lift one lug when watch has rotated on wrist but not when lying flat. I'm not enjoying saying this as I'd love to wear this watch.....and then I continue reading "divers are big watches and wear big" but still believe this is what makes watch a bit too unnatural on wrist. Please feel my pain 'cause I'm working hard to not buy this watch!

They are incredible value solor chronographs. They go half the money as simular watches from Citizen, Orient or Seiko and honestly, I think they are build just as good. As for looks, I'm in my 30s now and that's where my only issue compared with the 3 classic brands is: the Edifice is styled for younger audience. All the text on it, the quite clustered layout, the unusual colors... it a great watch, maybe the best watch, to get when you are at an age that starts with a 2. I still have an older version of this, from back then, it got 6 years of daily wear as an only watch and apart from some painted numbers on the metal faiding out, no faults, no scratches. And I would say it's accurate to less then a minute between change between summer & winter time. It still gets some use when all the automatics have their time and date to be reset and I'm in a hurry. If Casio just would offer a simple, clean classy panda version of this I would get a new one.

I've got this for £59 from Watchshop (black version) last week and I'm very impressed.

I've got the green dial and it looks good even with a nylon strap,. it's a very accurate watch. Liked it so much I got the beige dial next & this is spot on. I've been looking for the white dial now for a few months with out any luck. I've seen the blue & black dials both with titanium bracelets & like the luck of these two. But about a month ago I got a email with the white dial with it on a bracelet also. It does look very nice so I'm saving my pennies so I can have one. I've retired in June & get bored very quickly, but I collect other things too, F1 cars, (models) Football & Boxing cards, records. So, I've got to be careful that I'm not breaking the bank, even though it's my money!?😮 I always have some excuse like, oh it's the last en so they knocked money off, or it's been on display so not cheaper, but it's down to my choice of colour blue, black or the white?

They told me I would have a refund evening of 29th or morning 30th. This of course came and went so I contacted them yet again to told by end of day 30th. This of course did not happen. Now they are saying I will get my money by the end of the week. So that will be another lie. *UPDATE* They say they cannot refund me while the paypal dispute is open which is another outright lie confirmed by paypal. This is definitely a scam. *UPDATE* They have now cancelled my order and say a refund has been issued. Guess what?I have had no money refunded to me! Have nothing to do with this company! Paid for a watch in August with a shipping which was supposed to arrive in September it is now the end of October and I keep being told it will ship soon. Don't bother with this clownshow. They better not try the high risk of fraud thing they tried to pull on another reviewer here. *update* Just had them come back after promising it would be sent end September then mid October then end of this week it is now end of next week, they just offer excuses and lies. Do not buy from these con merchants.

I have two Duros and an Addiesdive. The bezels of both Duros are extremely hard to turn. In fact, I can't turn them when the watches are on my wrist. I have to take them off and hold them in my left hand while turning them with my right. Not so with the Addiesdive.

I bought this one, Pepsi version, it had a very bad calibration, +10min/day so I returned it, but it was so beautiful that I bought it again, as I have 2 more Paganis which work perfectly fine and are very solid and well manufactured, I assumed it was just an exception. I'm happy now with a new unit, which is perfect, +2 sec/day, the vessel is solid, great bracelet, absolutely no issues. I recommend you to return this one, ask your refund and buy it again, is the best.

The two fake watches are definitely not made in Japan or Malaysia, but in China, most likely in the city of Guangzhou or Shenzhen.

Open the back and look inside, side by side, the fake one is quite obvious. The fake looks less finished, less “professional”. The real one will have a square shaped label over the battery, neatly applied, the fake will have a round label, not so neatly applied. Also the real F-91W will have a brand-name battery that you have probably heard of, the fake one will have an unknown brand.

my f91w is original i even registered for the extended warranty, but it doesn't have the little u, vertical shade and its made in Thailand! also its light isnt green its yellow LIKE YELLOW yellow, i was pretty surprised at the first too

Its definitely better than an f91.. but not better than a dw 5600 gshock.. one of the important aspect is longevity without changing battery.. F91w can last for at least 10 years and solar powered gshock too.. wonder how long the battery on this loris can last

My first homage was the SD1970 w/NH35A and w/green dial ($120). Upgrade from the bracelet to a MAIKES leather strap with deployment clasp. Excellent watch! Next up, the Cronos L6006 w/PT5000; with the Bronze case, sunburst green dial, slightly domed sapphire crystal. Again, upgraded to the MAIKES leather strap w/deployment clasp. My first Bronze watch and something I could not pass up at only $130 on AliEx. Lastly, an UNBRANDED Tandorio (w/NH35A, $60) with white face, black circle applied indices, second marks on the white chapter ring, lumed black ceramic bezel with pip. I swapped out the bracelet for an after-market black nylon NATO strap (+5). I also modded it with a silver SEIKO dial branding (+$8), which I carefully positioned and affixed with its self-adhesive backing. I really like all of these watches...but the PANDA color scheme on the modded AliEx unbranded Tandorio is a real looker and unique.

I believe Bulova's quartz movement is 16 beats/sec. Very smooth. I'm sure Seiko could easily make something like that, but as you say they wouldn't want to cannibalize the spring drive. Also, the spring drive is just cooler in how it combines mechanical with quartz.

Hiya mate. The strap has PUR on it for "polyurethane rubber". I think possibly the strap size at the spring bars in mm too.

I have all the same issues as you. Also with mine the GMT hand moves slightly when I push the crown back in which is annoying. Takes a few attempts to get it right.

If that watch includes an hourly chime function and it is louder than a modern Casio, it is definitely an improvement over Casio. I bought a new Casio and the watch must be held up to the ear in a quiet room in order to hear it. That is not acceptable.
