WHO ARE WE?
We are Bob and Hillary, from Chandler, AZ. We have raised our kids (they are in college) bought the house, worked the 9-5, and now we are in our 40s finding out that what we really want is time and freedom more than anything! So we bought a van (1st step) and for now take epic road trips. Eventually though we could see ourselves doing this full time. At this point we have bought a Thor Rize 18T and quickly found out that it was to small for us (we are both over 6 feet tall) and so we traded it in for our current van a Thor Tellaro 20A. This van while brand new has given us lots of headaches...Who knew buying a brand new van would lead to having to fix everything!? This has us thinking that eventually we want to build out a van...more to come later on that 😉
What is our WHY? Why do we want to share it with you? The biggest reason is we have had some hard times and lost very dear people in our life which has caused us to want to make the most out of every moment we are given! Our goal is to inspire everyone to chase their dreams no matter their age and season of life, to help people see the behind the scenes of a couple doing that very thing! I was amazed that there are professional servers at restaurants not like L.A. where they’re all waiting to get their big role in the movies 🎥. I can hardly wait for the next episode. Travel safe.

I rented a car traveling through several states and National Parks....The car had Missouri plates and man ohhhh man those Missouri folk were coming out of the woodwork. They sure like to socialize. ;)

Hi Bob glad the sumo springs are helping you get mine in a couple of weeks. So just curious as you were driving through those winds in Iowa what speed were you driving at? Also did you keep the factory sway bar do did you upgrade it to a Hellwig Sway Bar? Happy Anniversary 🎉❤🎉

Thank you! We did not upgrade the sway bar. The winds were +20 in Iowa. I was driving 75 mph.

What a climate adjustment it must have been to move from MN to AZ. I love the Midwest. Used to live in the Kansas City area and miss it, currently in AZ like you guys and it is so different here

Nice video and the leaves were beautiful. I also do Vanlife and would like to take a trip in that area sometime this fall. If you don’t mind me asking what were the dates that y’all were there. My van came with a portable compressor/tire repair kit. It is small and, in my opinion, invaluable for a van. Plugs into 12v. It’s very easy to use with digital meter.
