WHO ARE WE?
We are Bob and Hillary, from Chandler, AZ. While we love living in Arizona we are not going to lie...the summers are brutal! So since both our boys are now in college we decided it was time to buy a #van a Tellaro 20a 2022 to be exact! We originally thought we would build one out. But after the past 2 years we realized that prices went up and things were hard to find. So much is on back order. So we did the next best thing! We bought one completely finished and ready to go!
What is our WHY? Why do we want to share it with you? The biggest reason is we have had some hard times and lost very dear people in our life which has caused us to want to make the most out of every moment we are given! Our goal is to inspire everyone to chase their dreams no matter their age and season of life, to help people see the behind the scenes of a couple doing that very thing! You guys… love it!! 😂😂 We have a travel trailer, same ‘quality’workmanship. I could go on for days about things that have went wrong. I have teenage boys.. they need to be gentle or they could literally go through a wall with a rogue elbow. Lol. We just sleep in it, then i kick everyone outside for the day. I would like a van or class c. My husband says we are not spending another penny on an rv or trailer, so make this one last!!! 🥴

So I have to say, we went from a Class A diesel, to a Class B Sprinter van, to a Class C Itasca Navion which we should have bought in the first place. Fixed bed, fixed dinette and a dry bath. 24 feet so my wife drives to give me a break. I love Ted's assessment on the Storyteller. $214,000 for a $100 port-a potty and a $100 cooktop. Hope you are on your way to Colorado, the colors are spectacular right now. As for us, we head to Mazatlan in November by way of Tucson and Nogales. Bien viajes!

Currently own a Thor tellaro 20at poptop for 2yrs always thought my next one will be a 4x4 24’ sprinter but class c b+!with dinette and bunk over head and fix rear bed will be my next rv for sure.

Good morning Vancaskeys. We have a 2021 Entegra Ethos 20T. It's a rear bath, class B. After watching everything you've been through with your last 2 RV's, maybe you really should consider a third option. I'm a little taller, at 6.2 and have plenty of room sleeping and using our rear bathroom. There is actually much more headroom and legroom in our rear bath. I can stand up in the bathroom and sit and have plenty of legroom. We have 2 twin beds that we keep as a full time king bed with a mattress instead of the seat cushions. The bed has froli bed springs to minimize moisture and maximize comfort. It comes with an Onan 2800 generator that runs off the same gas tank as the Promaster 3500, so we're never without power. Of course there's no perfect RV and we've had our share of issues. That being said, we've had ours for over a year now and use it all the time and love it. We didn't really know it when we bought it, but Entegra Coaches are all hand made, one at a time, so we haven't run into as many of those "finishing", issues that the assembly line brands seem to. Plus, we were very blessed to have our salesman Otis at Richardson RV. We didn't know much about class B's, but he really helped us to make the right choice. I'm really disappointed to see the way LaMesa RV is treating you. They are a huge chain. I definitely would not go back there. I know Bob really likes the Storyteller, but I don't think you will fit too well in that bed and I remember the first video I watched, you were on your way to an RV show and were so happy to get there and use the bathroom. I kept thinking to myself, why didn't Hillary just go while you were driving. Then I finally realized that it was because you didn't have one. You definitely don't want to take that giant step backwards. I tell you, we just bought a truck and when we take it out, we really miss having our own, private, clean, bathroom with us. Hillary was looking at a rear bath model and I really think she's onto something. As another taller person, I highly recommend it. Hope this helps. By the way, did you figure out what the engine smoke was? The heater core went out on ours and maybe Ram is having some kind of issues with them. Might want to check it out. Good Moring Kirk! Yours is very similar to the one Hillary loved. She always said she didn't want the bathroom in the back but now that we've been in ours we barely fit...we are realizing comfort has to play a huge part. You are right our Thor 18t had no bathroom LOL. We really didn't think it would be a big deal but we were wrong. Very wrong lol. Bring tall changes things. We never did figure out the engine smoke. Our alternator has went out so we think that's it. But now that you said you heater core went out that makes us want to check ours. We have a huge trip planned next week and we will need a heater 😬 Thanks for watching! We appreciate you guys!

An amazing number of vans at that show. I'm with you on the Story Teller, a go anywhere van which will leave you looking everywhere for somewhere to go! Not sure I want to climb into bed. Looks like the prices there were very good. Overall this was a fun video. Nice to have friends to travel with!

Fun! I love my 2017 Pleasureway Lexor TS. It has a great layout. It’s on the Promaster chassis so nice and wide. I’ve only had it since January so I’m still learning. So far the only downside are the front seats. I don’t know if it’s because they swivel, but there is not a lot of adjustment possible. The passenger seat is so uncomfortable that my son prefers to sit in the back. The bathroom is huge for a b van. There is enough storage and the kitchen works well. At just under 21’ I can take and park it almost anywhere.

Fun video (as always)! I too want to see the new Airstream Rangeline. A lot of features for the price, no propane, Airstream warranty AND on the updated Promaster platform. I’m also intrigued by the Solis Pocket, which seems (to me) to be the modern interpretation of the VW Westfalia. And the price (now that they’re discounting again) is “affordable”. Been following along for a while and appreciate your opinions and thoughts along the way. Thx! Now I need to find an RV show to attend!

Our local Airstream Dealer said they will call us as soon as they get one in! We want to see it in person. It seems like such a great van! We love attending RV Shows...they are a lot of fun!

@@Vancaskeys I love RV shows as well but find it difficult to know when they happen. I live in SoCal but travel for work all over the western half of the US and you’d think I’d find one. I was just in Scottsdale last week but the show you attended was likely a week or more before. Just missed it!

At 4:00, it looks like you show a new Travato KL, with a price of 112k - that does not seem possible, typically the Lithium equipped Travatos are not that inexpensive, at least not when new. Perhaps that was a K, not a KL?
