Driving the Entire Baja Peninsula in our VAN!

I must say you did fairly well for the first time. My first time was over 25 years ago. You missed some beautiful places but also stayed at some super places. Hopefully you make the trip again some day and you will feel more comfortable. I love it so much I settled in San Felipe over 20 years ago. I am from Reno, Nv. and wanted to get away from the snow and the cold. Thanks for the memories. Enjoy

Oh wow! We loved San Felipe. We will for sure go back. You'll have to let us know some of the places we should have went to. It's by far one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited.

I understand the difficulty in making a plan and sticking to it. There is just so much beauty to see! We arrive in SJDC this sunday, pick up our rental and hit the road for 10 days. Some thngs booked, but will mostly go where the wind blows us. We will also have a big bag of chips for the road 😅 I am driving my hubby nuts...constantly changing routes and destinations. We hope to come back with our van in the fall and do the whole penninsula. I hear Waze is better for maps ( Eternal Expat on you tube recommends). Have fun making your way back home 😀

You are the real deal when it comes to Van/RV travelling. Just go where the road takes you with no real plans. I love it, that's having a true adventure. Keep it coming, hope to be hitting the road soon ourselves, that's if our RV is ever built. 7 months and counting.

If you don’t like roads without guard rails - avoid the million dollar highway in Colorado. Their transportation department has determined that if you don’t put guard rails people drive more cautiously, and there are a few more accidents overall

If you want to see stunning tropical beaches go to South Florida and the keys or one of the many beautiful Caribbean islands, turquoise Waters and gorgeous White Sands, and warm water. The water is pretty in Baja but it's cold and the beaches look like deserts. There's no tropical vegetation.
