I put the same arrangement on my ‘19 FLHXS - only in the black vs chrome. Biggest issue I had was getting the factory stud out of the lower end support bracket. Double-nutted it and with some persistence it came out. Great look! Fantastic sound! You’re a winner bro! Way to hang in and get it done. I’d bet on you being way more satisfied saying you did that. I know I am. NOTE TO ALL: There is no torque value that I have found. What I did was used a black marker to color a flat on the flange nuts to be sure to pull the flanges down evenly. In terms of ft-lbs torque, hard to say because I used a ratchet where I could and a wrench on the front inside. DON’T break the studs! Good Saturday wrenching…

The hardest part is getting the old pipes off the cylinders and then attaching the new ones back on. Definitely easier with someone helping out. Pipes and slip on’s looking good ! And sound good too !

At high speeds its not the pipes that affect the radio its the wind. But I have bluetooth in my helmet now so I'm good. Ride Safe! and Thanks.

Hi, after you installed the headers & the slip on mufflers, did u install the fuel pack and must u install it or can u just ride it without it, I have a 2019 HD Road King Special & I’m not quite sure if it needs it as I don’t need more power than what it already has plz let me know

I installed the slipons first. Then the fuelpak. Then the headers last. The headers was a last minute decision. You don't need the tuner if you're only doing slipons. But you'll definitely want it for the headers.

Yes your warranty will be void. Changing headers also requires a tuner. Yes it does add a little power and sound too.

I took a corner a little more aggressive than normal turning right and yes it did scrape a bit. But if you take it easy, which I normally do, you can avoid it. Ride Safe!

Forget Vance & Hines Power Duels. They use mild steel and the chrome heat shields cover up shoddy workmanship. Another negative is the crossover cover scrapes the ground early. The finest HD header money can buy is Fuel Moto’s Jackpot header. The Jackpot header is a hand built stainless steel work of art. And the fit and finish is flawless.
