I’ve installed the V&H hi output slip-ons and a high flow intake on my 2019 Road King and tuned it with a FP3 fuel controller and the results were dramatic! Can’t wait for my winter project of installing the Power Duals header pipes. Ride safe everyone!

Great video, I went with true duals and monster rounds on my street glide. Put on a stage 1 air cleaner and power commander. Perfect combo in my opinion

Question: I have true dual headers that come out either side of my Street Glide and VH big Ovals. I want to take off the big ovals and put on a short slip on or something. I have stretch bags that have no cut out so I would like the pipe to come up short of the bags. Whats my best option? can I use my headers and by a shorty slip on or do I need to buy a new exhaust system?

love my vance n hines power duels n high output vance n hine slip ons, with a new air clearber high flow n tuned it has 25 percent more power n more torque, and its sounding deep n rumbly like a helicpoter flying above me, they work so well on my 2014 ultra classic that I'm putting them on my new 2021 road glide

just took my sportster with v&h out on highway at 80 and they sound excellent and LOUD. I would recommend ear plugs on long highway trips for town city your good.

I just bought a 2014 Roadking used with V&H Power Duals and High Output slip ons. I love the sound of the pipes, they rumble but aren't obnoxious they just purr at 55-60 on the highway. It also has a screamin eagle tuner and air cleaner. It dynos @ 86 h.p. and 105 ft lbs of torque I was glad to find a used bike set up the way I wanted. I would have rather had a Thunder Max tuner like my old 88c.i. had but no big deal the 103 is awesome!

Vance & Hines is dropping our choices down to a nitty gritty choice. I am very disappointed with them doing away with the dresser duals, since I planned on buying my fourth set of them when I find out they are no longer available. They said they were coming out with a newer version, which I have not yet seen but with already having owned 3 sets, I never had any complaint with the part number. I can say the same thing for the FP3 controllers. With 3 or 4 already purchased, why would we need an FP4 other than they could add another 100 dollars to the price?

I have been doing some serious shopping. The cost between the majors is wide. Knowing the horsepower is going to cost is not the problem. Which gives the best results with the full conversion. Air, exhaust, fuel programmer, and mufflers, which system gives the best bang for the buck? I have compared, Thunder header, V&H, & Rhinehart.

Yes, you can use the Dresser Duals with the stock mufflers, and as you said, you'd just do the air cleaner and a fuel controller like the FP3. -DrewZilla

Yes. I have the Vance & Hines power duals with Rinehart mufflers and Rinehart breather with a Harley pro-street tuner on my 2019 Road Glide Special. I could not be happier with this combo. And, these headers reduce temps by over 200 degrees at my legs.

Thanks RevZilla for all your great videos and service! Hey so I'm trying to figure out which set of pipes to go with on my 15' RoadGlide. I'm debating between the V&H Power Duals w/ V&H mufflers OR 2:1 V&H Pro Pipe. I'm not sure the difference in the two performance and sound wise?? Any idea here?

The 2-into-1 Pro Pipe will be lighter, consistently deep in sound, with a higher ceiling for performance. The Power Duals really just allow you a lot more options for mufflers. Personally, I'd go for the Pro Pipe. -DrewZilla

We aren't able to do our own empirical tests on performance, and we don't currently know of anyone who does have any info offhand. Whether it's Vance & Hines or another manufacturer, they've tuned their headers to work best with their own slip-ons (along with a fuel tuner like the FP3). -DrewZilla

Planning on V & H full system, likely with FP3 and hi flow air cleaner..but don't want to go with too much pipe for the bike as you've said..I do like the crossover best with the scavenging effect..no plans to go inside the engine..slip on and high flow cleaner recommendations? Thanks!

You really can go with any of Vance & Hines' touring slip-ons and air cleaners, as the major differences among them are really just aesthetic. The crossover headers and fuel controller will make the biggest difference to the whole system, but you've already decided on those, so you really can choose the slip-ons and air cleaner by what looks good to you. -DrewZilla

As much as I love my Cannons I went with V&H performance mufflers. It's all or nothing for me. Now I see how easy the cams are to replace once the exhaust is off. OMG this OCD is killing me.

I bought the FP3 last year. With stock SE intake and mufflers the improvement was awesome. Power, sound and even fuel consumption improved. I was sure I would burn more fuel but nope. My Bro has 2012 SE 110ci. My 2014 - 103 with the FP3 alone keeps up now. Can't wait to reach 3rd beer.

On your street glide are the high output mufflers too loud to hear the stereo?

+TWINCAM88 TWINCAM88 It's a bit difficult to provide a clear answer, as there are a lot of factors to consider. Whether the mufflers are too loud to hear the stereo depends on how loud you have the stereo and how loud the mufflers happen to be depending on your speed and acceleration. It also depends whether you have any hearing loss at certain frequencies. If you get them and think they're too loud, you can always add quiet baffles to the exhaust...or get louder speakers! -DrewZilla

Ok...I keep reading reviews that say I can still hear my radio. If you want to hear your radio get in your fucking car. I want to not hear my radio because I believe that loud pipes save lives but loud radios are for parties. Give me a good, loud, don't have or want a radio pipe please.
