How much louder would you say it is now compared to stock, and will neighbors notice compared to the stock volume? Hard to judge volume difference on just video.

Hey Too Fuego, the O.E.M. exhaust pipe looks like a tube of baloney with a black wrapper on it instead of a red one! The original one sounds like a Fisher-Price/Playskool model exhaust. Smart play to change it and have the 500 sound like a REALl motorcycle-FINALLY! 👍🏍️😁🦅❤️Doug

Nice. Just bought my new V&H which will be installed very soon. Love the rumble and growl it gives off. I'm sure my neighbours will be growling just as much when I leave for work at 6 am. 😂

is it possible to install the exhaust and keep the stock passenger’s foot pegs? I want to buy it but the seller says it’s not compatible with the pegs

When you change the exhaust on any bike do you need to notify your insurance under modification and does it effect the insurance etc

If I'm not mistaken, it does nothing for your insurance. Your premiums won't go up, but it also won't be covered under your insurance. But don't quote me. You can ask your insurance

I did A LOT of research online regarding different exhausts. Honestly I only liked the sound/growl of the V&H and the 2 Brothers Racing ones. Since they were both similar in price, I chose the V&H based on the esthetic.

Didn't like the sounds of the cheaper ones. I know the Shorty is only like $60, but to me it sounded too much like a dirt bike (just my ears/opinion)
