Sorry for the delay, but FINALLY here is PART 3 of my 3 part installation series as I convert my 2021 Honda Rebel 500 to be able to ride with a passenger. Add Locktite to the rack bolts to keep them from getting loose when you ride. The engine vibration may loosen your rack bolts.

Them bolts are tight I broke my Flip out Allen key set on them it was a cheap set but the plastic just snapped.

I read there are concerns about the construction of the backrest and that there could be an issue with it bending/breaking due to not enough support from the bolts holding it to the grab bar. Have you had any issues like this?

I haven't yet. Although in all fairness I've only had a passenger on only a handful of times.
