Actually the bike was running rough. This was a brand new bike which Harley confirmed that it was misfiring. I took it back after this video and they needed to do a remapping. While there I did a stage 2. That fixed the issue. You can see the video on my channel

But answer your question. No you don’t need to tune when you put the slip ons. Only when u add a full system.

Do you need to do a tune at HD after fitting them?

I double checked before i installed these this morning. No.. only when you do air filter upgrades or full exhaust system. V&h has 15% off now online.

@@JustAnotherReviewwithAlek I noticed no deceleration popping when you revved the engine. This video provides valuable information since I have a 2018 Sportster 48 stock, but I purchased Vance & Hines slip-ons which have not been installed and I've been debating on whether to add a tuner and air cleaner. Hope I don't have to add anything but the slip-on pipes. Thanks for the video.

@@69FOSTER thanks for watching. I have done a stage one since this video as my rpm was all over the place. This was an issue from the day I bought the bike! I have another video showing the resolved issues being fixed
