The most Canadian thing I've ever seen is a sign attached to the fence surrounding an irrigation dam. It simply says "Please Do Not Vandalize This Dam." Add it's working! I was recently by that way and stopped to see if it's still there. It is, badly sun-faded, but still there nearly 30 years after I first saw it, and the dam is still in mint condition. It hasn't even been tagged. How Canadian is that? A sign asks people to not wreck something, and people have obeyed the sign for decades. I'm convinced it's because they said "please." 🙂

It made me cry too. I've never been so proud as to be a Canadian. Like Ryan, I live in the states but I will never give up my Canadian Citizenship for anyone. That’s pretty cool. My cousin was their guitar tech for years, and he loved working for them.
