And not critcising Wrexham's owners, they seem genuine about their interest and have a good connection with the town and fans. (unlike some football club owners) But they basically did this by putting together a 3rd level team in the 5th level, then the 4th level. They had the biggest wage bill in both divisions. Short term, they bring in former top level players at the end of their careers eg. Foster, McLean. Yeah nothing is guaranteed and thats worked for them so far. League 1 is kind of where they should be but making that next step up? This might be diificult. They're not the big fish anymore. And also, for every club that gets promoted another goes down the other way. Just ask Tom Brady.
