Vancouver Airport U.S. Departure Gates (YVR) Walking Tour April 6, 2023 4K

This is a walking tour through the U.S. Departure Gates in the International Terminal post security at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in British Columbia Canada. The walk starts just past security and U.S. Customs and Immigration to the end of the U.S. side of the International terminal and back.
Gates 71 - 99 are on the U.S. side of the International terminal, however gates 71 - 77 can be blocked off for use on non U.S. International departures if needed. Gates in the U.S. section have prefix of "E" so E71 to E99
It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from security to the farthest gates (77/78). There are currently 2 airline lounges available: Air Canada Maple Leaf and Plaza Premium.
There is about 10 places to eat or buy food including Starbucks and Tim Hortons. There are currently two full service restaurants Vino Polo near Gate 83 and Canucks Bar & Grill near Gate 82
Gates 90 to 99 are via a walkway to the right just past the first duty free store outside immigration.

Wow awesome - I've never been through the US side of YVR, just the International. It looks like that the area at Gates 72 to 74 are closed off to non US flights during the day, but at night it's the US side that is closed off at Gate 74. I'm impressed how flexible YVR is in the way they could assign gates. 👍

Thanks! They can actually switch all the gates from 72 to 77 to be either International or U.S. as needed or parts by closing several sections. They certainly did good planning on the design. There are more U.S. flights in the morning where as there are more International flights in the afternoon and evenings. I am hoping to post a video walk thru for Domestic gates in a few weeks as well.

Never seen gates b90-b96. Its a ghost town, when does it get used?

Actually they are used now more regularly. They were originally setup for the smaller regional planes to the U.S. back when the airport was busier. So Dash-8 props and Embraear jets are usually what will go to these gates.
