Oh boy! I hit that like button as soon as I saw the ingredients!! You really captured the beauty of fall on the island with some of those shots. Michelle: fire is hot, lol Cast iron is the only way to cook! Oh my goodness....THAT STEW!

17:57 " The internet told us it's not supposed to be raining today. " I had to laugh at that. I've always told people " There are so many conflicting weather forecasts ,you can always find one that has the forecast you want " I have 4 different forecasts I use for the P.A area . When they are all showing the same forecast, it's probably right . When all 4 are different , it's either springtime , fall, or the weekend. 🙂

We just got back from 5 nights north island we made it to San Josef bay with Wolf the cat 😊, Naka creek for two nights then Brewster lake which was gorgeous, we love watching you two on your adventures your inspirational 🫶🏻

Great video! I've had one of those Dutch ovens for a few years and still haven't broke it in. Must dig it out soon lol. Tri pods are great over the fire. I built one out of rebar. Works great. Cheers Greg& Erin

Good call on the 10" , you'll be very happy with it. I recently purchased a dutch oven bag from Cabelas, its nice for keeping everything else clean.

I'm totally getting a tripod to cool over. Which brand did you get? Nice camp spot and they are certainly easier to find empty in the fall...with the exception of this weekend, I suppose😁 I was crazy how many hunters were out there this weekend!

The tripod is a great idea. However, we will probably return it and exchange it. The one we got is not sturdy enough and does not extend far enough for the size of pot we got. We'll try it one more time this upcoming weekend, but not sue if it will work out. We didn't go anywhere this last weekend and stayed put at home. Just needed a bit of a break. @@backroadjournals Well, hopefully you can get a taller sturdier one that works for the Dutch Oven you have. The weekends have certainly been hit or miss for weather lately. I get editing done during the really terrible weeks😃
