Vandal Damages ABC 7 Chicago's Studio During Live Newscast

Based on the disaster the comment section became, nobody's probably going to read this, but let's see if I can clear up some issues. A sunny day, the shades on the studio were closed, during the incident, so while the anchors could tell the direction of the noises, they didn't actually see it happen. Though inaccurate, calling it a light fixture/equipment malfunction isn't that crazy. Besides, with no view of the outside, it would've been unwise to alarm the viewer with panicked assumptions, instead of calmly awaiting more information.
