Vande metro train should be use as a replacement for old local suburban railway trains it should be made operational in Mumbai sub urban railway, chennai sub urban railway, kolkata sub urban railway, Delhi sub urban railway and other big cities . It can be used to connect all the cities and tourist places that are located just 100 km ,200 Km ,300 km range such as some routes that I can suggest Delhi - Gaziabad, Gaziabad - Meerut, Gaziabad - bulandshahr - Aligarh, Aligarh - Mathura - Agra , Agra - kanpur, kanpur - lucknow , kanpur - Prayagraj, lucknow - Ayodhya, Prayagraj - varanasi , Varanasi - Patna , Ayodhya - Gorakhpur, Gorakhpur - Deoria - Mau - Gazipur, Delhi - jaipur, Jaipur - Ajmer , Ajmer - jodhpur , Jodhpur - udaipur , jaipur - Dausa - bharatpur - Dhaulpur, Jaipur - Tonk - Sawai Madhopur - Kota - jhalawar, Jhalawar - Rajgarh - Bhopal, bhopal - ujjain - indore, bhopal - jabalpur , Agra - Gwalior - jhansi, Udaipur - Ahmedabad, we can create a web like network covering all the important cities and tourist places with each other in every state from north India to south India In south India we can do the same connecting all the important cities and tourist places with big southern cities like Hyderabad, chennai, Bangalore, konchi, mysuru, Thiruvananthapuram, vijayawada, vishakhapatnam etc

Indian Govt should focus on three important railway projects 1st project will be bullet train project to connect all the industrial, economic and IT hub cities such as Mumbai- Ahmedabad - Delhi, Mumbai - Pune - Goa - Bengaluru - Chennai, Chennai - Hyderabad - Vijayawada - Amravati . After completing these lines we can move toward Delhi - Lucknow - varanasi - Patna - Ranchi - Jamshedpur - kolkata and kolkata - bhuneshwar - vishakhapatnam Bullet train in future 2nd project is RRTS for Tier 1 metro cities to connect all the town and nearest cities with it like Delhi RRTS is doing we can apply same model for Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, kolkata and other cities of India 3rd project will be vande metro project it should be used as an extension of RRTS to connect all the tier 2 and tier 3 cities with big cities in a web like network. One more important project will be Kerala silver line high speed train project connecting all the important cities of Kerala and it should be based on vande metro bullet train project that is planned to run between 150 km/hr and 280 Km / hr

​@@abhisheksangwan1 If you look at the condition of traffic in India , you will feel that we need all the three modes of transport roadways,railways and airways equally efficient. The flight tickets cost rising day by day in festival season and holiday season flight tickets cost goes upto 20k , 30k per person , you always find train ticket fully booked you have to do reservation if you want to travel anywhere in advance , if you look at road transport it also need improvement rising traffic jam and pollution in every city becomes a normal thing. So our country has a population of 140 + crore and it is divided in Tier 1,tier 2, tier 3 and rural areas, every region has it's own requirements. If we want to travel smoothly, seamlessly and comfortably we need to expand and improve all the three modes of transport to regulate and divide the traffic and crowd equally and efficiently in all modes of transport to reduce burden on a single kind of systems.

Yeah silver line is state project and will happen at any cost because corruption in Kerala is not as worse as in many other states in India and people are hyperactive. If you see a pothole people will directly go and bang the door of politicians and bureaucrats rather than sitting at home and complaining. There are plenty of videos on internet, reason why Kerala has great malaysian technology roads now railways are not as railway stations are clean and maintained not like North but trains are old because it's under central government and silver line will change everything

This train would be fantastic as a fast, frequent shuttle service for distances around 250 km max. We need proper regional railway services in India to boost connectivity in smaller cities and rural areas (which will spur industrial and economic growth without burdening megacities with mass migration). Vande Metros should essentially replace our outdated MEMU trains and do those services more efficiently and more comfortably for the passengers (Because they have a better acceleration and higher top speed compared to current non AC MEMUs, and they are equipped with better amenities for the passengers.) If implemented properly, these trains would unburden our crowded unreserved coaches and non AC sleeper/ seating coaches of our express trains. Gradually, it might even lead to the complete removal of unreserved coaches from express trains as there would be no need for them. This would also eliminate the need for express trains to stop at many small stations as IR would follow a ' hub and spoke model ', wherein Vande Metros will serve all the small and large stations of sections of up to 200 km, and express trains will only be stopping at the large stations. Our express trains will get significantly speeded up if that happens. The best routes for the Vande Metro in and around Mumbai, for example, would be Mumbai - Nashik, Mumbai - Pune and Mumbai - Valsad. With Mumbai - Valsad for example, the train can leave Bandra Terminus and have halts at Borivali, Vasai, Virar, and then every stop after Virar except Umroli and Pardi. With a top operating speed of 130 km/h and its high acceleration, this distance can be covered in around 2 hours 15 minutes by the train. Lets say if the rake can be used for 12 and a half hours straight and 15 minutes are allotted at each terminal for basic cleaning, a single rake would be able to do around 5 to and fro trips between Bandra Terminus and Valsad in a single day (3 trips from Bandra Terminus to Valsad while two in the opposite direction), serving a lot of stations in the process and providing them with great connectivity. Add another rake in the opposite direction and we will have 10 round trip services (5 from BDTS to BL and vice-versa). This would be a game changer for regional connectivity. Imagine this service pattern in all the busy corridors of our country! It will change the way India travels (and perceives travel) for the better! Unfortunately, it seems IR is still stuck in its stubborn phase of running slow, infrequent MEMU type trains that go very long distances, completely messing up with their productivity. The management of our resources has always been abysmal and it seems that it is going to continue being abysmal.

General compartment mein log bhar bhar ke ja rahe hai, sarkar esa nahi ki inn route pe double decker chaircar chalwa de rather train kam ho rahi hai aur esi trains nikal rahi hai jo jadatar log afford bhi nahi kar sakte desh mein. Mere second class compartment ke just pass ke just pass he ye compartment ko dekh kar dukh hota hai jis tareeke se log ja rahe teh, zameen se lekar luggage rack pe tak😔 Ye sabka badla uparwala lega unn sabse jin ke paas capability hai par farak nahi padta.

Kafi saalose Nasik ke population ki Mumbai se EMU connect karneki maang thi , lekin kasara to igatpuri ki tunnel ki wajahase EMU ke trial fail huye . isliye Mumbai Nasik ke bich Namo Bharat lonch ho sakti he , Distance bhi itna Kam he ki wo train 3 time aa-ja sakti he .

2:15 bhaiya fare is ok because normal superfast trains per km cost is 0.85rs which is only .045rs less than vande metro which is acceptable of its service offered it will helpful to middle class as who travels very frequently because they didn't require any reservation for travelling in long routes

you said absolutely right I live in between Ahmedabad and Bhuj line we cannot use the train as metro due to its timing moreover railways have to compete with government bus services which is widely used here. whereas it should be unreserved chair cart as it would be good for long distances where some of the coaches could have same seats as present to maintain during peak days. I WOULD SAY IT IS NOT A FLOP BUT IMPLEMENTED BADLY.

Railway ka system confuse hai metro ko le ke. Sari train morning aur evning ko chalane pe hi focus kar rahe hai ye dhakkan log. jabki din ke section me raat ke section me inka koi dhyan nahi hai. Aur ye cheej sab jagah sare route pe hai. Aap kiraya thik hai jo lagaya so lagaya. Lekin jab public ko ek hi time me jane ka option milega to bheed bhi hoga aur tab kiraya bhi jyada lagega. Vahi alternate way me chalaye to public ko lagega ki chalo ye train gayi to agali 1-2 ghante baad wali se chale jayenge. to uske liye bhi comfert ho jayega. lekin baar baar ye railway ke afsar aise quick moment wale me fisaddi sabit hote hai aur apane sarkari hone ka proof dete hai🤣🤣🤣

अभी महाराष्ट्र में ऐसी बस का किराया लगभग ₹२/किमी है, उसमें महिलाओं ५०% कम है याने ₹१/किमी और ७५वर्ष के ऊपर फोकट है। रेलवे ₹१/किमी रखना उचित और योग्य है। सोलह कम-से-कम हो तो नुक्सान नहीं उठाना पड़ेगा।
