Lauren is so all over the place. She is NOT the voice of reason, she is the voice of the producers. She set the same boundaries with Randall that Arianna placed at the beginning of all of this. The only reason she was able to leave her house so quick was because she was not financially invested in her home with Randall like Arianna is in her situation. Lauren is seething jealousy for how the world supported Arianna while didn't even acknowledge her situation since Lauren was fully aware of the man she was with from the jump when he made her sign a NDA to commit adultery. They expect Arianna to just move on because of these opportunities, but not taking a second to realize even if you're making money and getting gigs you're still dealing with a traumatic loss of a 10 year relationship. Its going to take longer then a few months to process and get over that.

The boundaries she had in place was because of a child custody battle in court , it wasnt about Laurens ego being hurt it was about the security and wellbeing of her child and nothing being turned and twisted while trying to navigate agreements in court , the fact Lala had to set this boundary in the first place was upsetting but as the group wasnt all parents it was fair for her to have to state the obvious, as much as Tom and Raquel did wrong to Ariana this isnt the same this is a bunch of if your his friend i wont be your friend and nobody has the right to ask anybody of that , Lauren never asked for people to not be Randalls friend she said if you associate with him i cant associate with you as im in court with child custody and randalls involved in shady stuff i never knew about , Lauren is protecting her child , and Ariana is trying to navigate Tom out of the friend group two completely different purposes
