Vanderpump Rules Season 11 Premeir Full Recap

What's up Bros?! VPR is BACK baby! The season we've all been waiting for and this was a solid first episode! We start out by checking in with everyone to see how they're holding up 3 months post Scandoval. Don't worry, Tom is still in New Zealand filming Special Forces so we don't have to deal with him yet... But things have settled down slightly amongst the group. Tom and Ariana are still living in the same house but communicating via assistant. Katie fills us in about Something About Her and its looking like things are still moving in the right direction. Could we also see a friendship blossoming between her and Scheana?? Scheana is still reeling from Scandoval and the betrayal. DJ James Kennedy is doing well in his new house, he's sober, seems happy and seems like he is in a really good place (love to see it). The episode ends with Lala reaching out to Rachel as she begins to empathize with her having gone through what she thinks is a similar situation with Randal. All in all, solid start to the season and the Bros are ready for more!

Schwartz actively participated in the scandal by covering up Sandoval and Rachel's relationship by pretending like he was pursuing something with her, lying to everyone about it all, including his his wife, who happens to be Arian's best friend, all the while his best mate was cheating on Ariana, why should Ariana forgive Schwartz? I fkn hate the guy, he looks and acts like a serial killer and the whole aloof, awkward, nice guy persona is tired and pathetic.

Did you guys notice it was the first time in VPR history when you heard both "Vanderpump Rules" (From Lala) and "Watch What Happens Live" (From Ariana). . . . they've really been breaking the 4th wall a lot at Bravo. . . .I think that's the new thing with a lot of reality shows that are in their later seasons like The Kardashian's cause there was a time when it was highly frowned on. . . . Remember when Denise thought "BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!" was gonna get an embarrassing scene cut from RHOBH but they aired it anyway?....

Yeah, it is pretty crazy. Granted, with VPR, they broke the 4th wall a lot during the season finale of season 10 because it was impossible not to do that. I also think it's different to talk about things that impact the show that are outside the show i.e WWHL, Bravocon, interviews etc vs stopping production because there is a topic you don't want to talk about like Denise did.

The thing with that picture is it was actually made out of Lego so someone spent a lot of hours making that for them, which is why she didn’t want to just smash it. We actually have a scene I think somewhere on here where she was talking to the artist trying to see if they could rework the Legos so it’s just her.

Rachel already responded to Lala’s call on her own podcast and she said from the get-go she knew it it was not genuine and once she saw the premiere and saw that she did it on camera it confirmed to her what she already knew, it was just a ploy to get her back to the show. However, with all that being said, I do feel Lala is lost within herself and it is hard for her to get out of her own ego, so it’s not surprising to me that she’s trying to find commonality with the mistress because that’s exactly what she was for a few years , you reap what you sow!!!

I think the reason why Katie is being filmed with Schwartz is because he really doesn’t have anybody else to film with at this point other than Sandoval and they need to keep him relevant in the show, and I am sure she was told that and although she does it to help the show, it’s agonizing pain, and I totally get it😝

This is a manipulation tactic of Lala's. She used her indigent outrage to deflect from her own behaviour in regard to Randall. She got an incredible amount of backlash last year after the reunion for the way she attacked Raquel. Realizing she was the bad guy going into this season, she pivoted to playing the victim right at the top by faining concern for Raquel and an overly emotional affect about a split from a monster that happened over a year ago now. If she hadn't leaned in on the Scandaval attacks, we would have seen her processing her emotions around her divorce last year and moving into empowerment this season. Now she's playing catchup so it feels like we are stepping back in time as she looks at the Randall split. As it's turned out, she's gone back to attacking Raquel. Lala is one of the best at this game, and she's played everyone like a fiddle.

Idk, this episode felt like it was too close to last season and I'm already a bit tired of the Rachel jabs since she clearly is not doing well mentally. If this is the whole season, I might pass.

Look the Lala scene looked like she was told by the producers to try and help get Rachel back to the show because at that time they were still negotiating with her, Lala needs that show to be relevant because she doesn’t really have a lot of additional talent for when the show ends. Sure she has a podcast but overtime I think that would fade out, it’s just not that interesting to the point that I already unsubscribed from it. Then on WWHL, she clearly says that if she could have seen into the future and saw the Bethenny interview, she would’ve never reached out to her in the first place, so that tells you right there that it was not authentic.

As a horse person “champing” is the common term used with horses & it is actually a thing that horses do when they are feeling impatient. None horsey people use ‘chomping’ likely because champing sounds odd. Same with “putting blinders on” - that’s from the horse world too only the term is actually “blinkers”. Blinkers are used with harness tack & as equipment in racing to limit what the horse can see behind them & keep focussed on what’s in front (they are a prey animal so eyes are on side of head, not in front like a predator) But all none horsey people say “blinders” probably because again, “blinkers” sounds odd.

She’s allowed to be petty. And all of the lawyers agree you should never ever walk away from an asset like that. He absolutely does not get to take the house after destroying the home. They sell it and split it. He pays back his loan on his own and she gets her investment back. That’s the only fair way to do it. Him getting to keep the house is ridiculous.
