I chose to not watch season 9 because i was convinced the show would be so lame without stassi and jax... this recap is surprisingly amazing... I didnt even know how much i really liked seeing more indepth promotion of scheana!!! She actually does have alot of substance and seeing her journey as a mother and her getting married.. brock really suits her. You can tell she takes the backseat and he really helps bring out her femininity. She really lets him take the lead and its beautiful to see. What a beautiful couple!

Rewatching looking for the redflags re: Scandoval I think if you're with a guy 9 years, you're his common law wife, you're entitled to half of everything you guys built up in that time, keep receipts, get some legal advice. I think rachel is vulnerable to wolves in sheep's clothing, she confused Friendship with Seduction, poor gentle innocent trusting romantic princess got seduced by a guy in a fully committed common law marriage, all he has to do is claim he is her friend...wait for a moment of weakness...pounce, once his DNA is inside her, there's a chemical bond ~ a much deeper connection. It's a good job rachel's parents aren't as naive.

Granted I only started watching the show because of Scandavol, but from what I've been able to suss out, the reason Tom cheating on Ariana is being treated as a huge deal is a combination of four things: 1. That Tom and Ariana's relationship/friendship is apparently one of the cornerstones of the show and that Tom basically destroyed it by cheating on Ariana. 2. That Tom was able to successfully hide his affair with Ariana from the producers, which itself is a major feat of magnificent bastardom given how something of this magnitude is often IMPOSSIBLE to hide if you are on a reality TV show. 3. Furthermore, it raised an issue that longtime fans keep mentioning in the wake of Scandavol: which is that Jax and James and their reality TV villainy antics basically hogged the spotlight, allowing Tom to be considered a "good guy" by everyone compared to those two and Jax in particular. So now, especially given that Jax is no longer on the show, Tom no longer has Jax and his antics to hide behind and people are starting to fully see Tom as a truly horrible person for the first time. 4. Finally, apparently the post-Jax seasons of the show were considered a bore and the affair/break-up of Tom and Ariana has given the show a massive shot in the arm content-wise.

I've just started binge watching this series and it's the same thing; funny as hell drama because everyone is a narcissist and tries to get someone else to feel, think, and believe what they feel, think, and believe.... Also, Lisa calms everyone down and puts them in their place because they work for her, so she's great at controlling psychotics, and from what I see she loves those horses, those huge horses.... Plus, the relationship between Shwartz and Sandoval is true brotherhood and united as one.... I do think Kennedy is funny as hell because he game-pimps the women and manipulates them constantly while I love Jax because Jax really dominates everyone mentally while having a, 'wait-and-see' attitude because he already knows yet nobody takes him seriously... I don't like how Katie tried to control Shwartz and my favorite female character is LaLa because she just doesn't give a flying-flip and the other women are either too dependent or too catty and either way it works fine...it's a sad, funny, twisted, and mentally disturbing show but it's a combination of: The Young & The Restless, Melrose Place, and Jersey Shore -- everyone has slept with everyone and the mental games never stop.

We're not all parent material, most of us are spares, just in case. Those who are desperate to enter parenthood should go for it. He was hella interesting and funny and there was always earthshattering drama with him on the show. Now, with the exception of lala, there are a bunch of stodgy boring lames on this show that are BARELY watchable. A big snorefest. So I won't be watching this season.
