Had the privilege to keep one of these(my brother's) for couple of years, in the late 90s/early 2000s. Was a beast, raw power. I also had an Enfield Fury...that was fast too. While the RD had more power, great sound. the Fury was class in terms of premium hardware which the RD did not have. The Fury came with Paioli suspension, Brembo brakes, Bosch electrics, Grimeca wheels, Magura handlebar/switchgear/master cylinder, AP Lockheed front disc. I sold the RD for a mere 35K rupees in 2005 which I regret...the Fury is still at home.

Truly a legend. Had one during those times and evokes emotions still. Having said that, it should restricted from being used as a commuter, rather kept as a collectors piece considering the fact that a 2 stroke vehicle literally slits the throat of our environment which first of all is not in a good shape.
